These babies are only kept till they reach maturity. Then they are too hard to handle and are returned to the wild where many cannot survive due being domesticated or rejection from the tribes. You can take care of this panicky behavior by putting him on his stomach or letting him cling to your chest so that he is upright. The times that this newborn panicks in this video are those times when he is upside down, or held up in the air so that his feet don't touch the ground, or when 'mom' moves him from clinging to her or making a tactile contact to a location where he has no contact with her. He calms himself by flipping himself over from his back to his belly. And by sucking his thumb. (According to scientific sources I've read, the newborns don't have control over when their bodies twitch around while they are panicking.)

Do you wipe your own backside that much? It will only make it more irritated and sore. Soak his bottom in a warm bath. Use Vaseline or desitin to soothe the skin of diaper area & protect from waste. Change baby more often.

How many times do I have to tell people, that these animals belong with their natural mother? Because they have hands and fingers, they constantly scratch and touch their dirty bottoms, then transfer urine and faeces on to their bodies, and EVERYTHING they touch.
