Delhi's Bengali community is concentrated around CR Park area (Chittaranjan Park). This place was originally a place to rehabilitate refugees coming from eastern Bengal. Hence many of the residents there are descendants of pre partition eastern Bengal. This area offers authentic Bengali cuisine. Hoping that somehow you land up in CR Park!... Actually many sweet shops across India name themselves as Bengali sweets as Bengali sweets are popular all across India. But CR Park is different it is like a mini Kolkata. There you would get authentic Bengali food... Delhi has amazing variety in stuffed parathas. There is a place called "Parathe wali gulli", there you can grab parathas of various kinds. It's a very interesting food hotspot! Also try "chole kulche" its chole with a soft kind of bread. Its very delicious. And I think as you like parathas, puris, etc you will enjoy it.

I go to Ashoka Road but never visited here for food though Rajiv Chowk metro is just one stop from Patel Chowk.

Their regular restaurants serving this quality foods for everyone, and probably the price is also reasonable I assume. So once again I feel pity for myself living in Dhaka.

Indian food doesn’t seem scrumptious to me, and moreover, it seems a bit unhygienic. I believe Bangladeshis made the best spicy food, followed by Pakistanis.
