If all people could laugh about it and see the irony and that it's not serious then the world would be a better place. It's really crazy what I've been called as a German just because I'm proud 😂 I remember the time when we went on a school trip to a developing country in fifth grade. The sights were really shocking. But what stuck in my mind the most.. That everyone was looking at us weirdly and with fear. And suddenly whispered the word Nazi. I just thought wtf what is that supposed to be?.. We are confronted with it very early on and also learn a lot about it. So much so that everyone already knew everything about this topic when we discussed it in 9th grade. We were like, "Yes.. we know".. Especially me because I absolutely love history. But it is always important to know that there is no such thing as pure black and white.
That video game scene, it's from the Street Fighter from the '90s. The joke is that the fat dude was using Ken, which should've been the skinny guy, and the skinny guy was using Honda, who is a sumo wrestler, and should've been the fat dude. It's a mock on cultural appropriation. It ain't that funny, but it helps if you know the reference.
When the German guy tells the other guy to get those comedic writers, the other guy says that they will not be able to answer the call, well basically the writers were all Jewish and it was a Hollicost joke, in bad taste I might add.
You spend more time than u should talking about how to pronounce München and missed the joke completely, even after you replay the part. Munich is the English name for München, just like Florence is the English name for Florentina. It's not how you're supposed to pronounce the words, they're just different names for the same places. As for the joke that u completely failed, the Germans can't find film industry professionals after WW II because it's IMPLIED that they're all jewish people. They're all gone, because what happened? "Oh I remember what happened", says the producer, hoping that u guys also remember what happened, but you clearly don't.
