The item they get could be dirt cheap (such as a dirt block) or very expensive like a netherite block. So the payment is very cheap but the percentage for it to really pay off is low. So this would make players want to keep spending a single diamond in hopes of getting a big jackpot, but likely wouldn’t as there is 300 or so different variation of items given, and it is completely random every time, causing them to spend 16 diamonds in a matter of minutes without knowing what hit them

You simply can not fathom how much this video has helped me. I literally have a casino in my Minecraft server that these systems inspired me heavily and that way of harvesting bamboo was exactly what I was trying to figure out before I gave up and decided to watch this video.

Bro I can think of an AWESOME use for this, and that would be using it to cause a random event in a Minecraft map. If you switch out the bamboo farm for a red stone clock, then you can make the random events happen systematically. Like your in this Decked-Out style dungeon and then suddenly you hear the Event BellTM and skeletons pop out of the walls for an ambush, or areas begin to flood with water, or fireworks begin to be shot out of the walls and floor and blow up in your face. This idea is a great way to implement casino games into minecraft. You’d probably need to fiddle with the exact odds, but you could easily make a game of blackjack, roulette, craps, or possibly even of texas hold’em poker. This could seriously be a cool thing to implement on hermitcraft

You could set a similar contraption up on Hermitcraft for a lottery-type thing that resembles Grian's Barge Mystery Boxes/Treasure Boxes. Those seem to do really well, and this way, you would just need to stock a lot of shulkers at once and leave it alone for a while, leaving you with a long-term, successful shop (for once). And it might just be sweet to beat Grian at his own game...
