I just think, when I give you something it is logic.. how you use it is moral .. god gives me ingenuity, intelligence, soul , it is my logic of them to know and understand that I have them .. there for we have base / values and upon that how you treat them you build relationships values ..
@Y1836Y
@Y1836Y 10 месяцев назад
Interesting that you think G-d didn't create morality. We wouldn't even think to be moral without Him. A severe lack of morals, an attitude of everything goes, literally, in every sense of the phrase, existed before Abraham "met" with G-d. We're living in a world that has progressed since then, though in some ways, not so much for over 3000 years.

No, religion brings separation, haughtiness, arrogance in the belief system and dissention, intolerance of nonbelievers. A lot of violence, torture and destruction has occurred oin the we name of religion, by way forced conversions or suffer and die by xianity and Islam. Not by Judaism, that discourages conversions since it's not necessary in order to.have a relationship with G-d and do what He wants and needs us to do. Judaism is not a religion, G-d forbid. It's a relationship with G-d, one where we share Him with the world, as He durected us to do.

I'm an inhabitant of this planet who has no use for religion; some people do. As far as morality goes, you don't need religion to be good. What we all have is a drive to survive, and to accomplish that, we need to learn to get along. We are social beings.
@Y1836Y
@Y1836Y 10 месяцев назад
Rabbi Friedman doesn't t teach religion. He teaches Torah, which promotes a relationship with G-d, our Creator. There is no morality without G-d, since He gave us laws to follow. Prior to the 613 laws in the Torah, people were hedonistic and G-dless, doing whatever aberrant behavior they wanted to do. Being "good" is G-d's design, not man's. You may be here to survive, Jews are not. We all have a unique G-d given purpose, whether we know it or not, accept it or not, fulfill it or not. Yes, G-d created us as social beings, though what that means is important.

Hi Manis, The word "religion" in Latin means "re-binding", i.e. the restoration of the relationship between God and the human being. So, the Jews, with Judaism, are the most religious of all, because they have the right path. The rest of the cults that do not have this "re-binding" are not religious, they are just a wrong path. People do not know this yet, but they will be witnesses soon to the glory of God.

I've never quite understood why people yearn to go to Heaven. It seems more like a temporary resting place than a permanent one. Enjoying truly life itself is about the struggle, and it's through overcoming challenges that we can genuinely appreciate peace. The equilibrium between struggle and peace is what everyone ultimately pursues.

I am his biggest fan, not always of his oppinion, but is biggest fan. Dear Rabbi your are not only a rabbi, you are a mensch being a rabbi. That is teaching in reaching my soul. That is different from "just" teaching. I am autistic, i suffered in my life from teachers in the scale of hell. If somebody can touch my feelings in transporting knowledge, that is, ..i can not find a propper word. Thinking in the middle beyond the middle of the center in the circles around. The Mishkan: When g-d reveales in veils. Hidden to be spoken. The tent is sealed for a view but not for the voice. The veil is presence not absence. Like it was on the mountain: The veil, the clouds and the word of how to live being able more than just to be, to be more. A nice day to everybody !
@hanagloriaedelblum5693
@hanagloriaedelblum5693 10 месяцев назад
Excellent analysis that I would love to hear explained further. About "the middle of the centre" and concentric rings. It all sounds fascinating. King David wrote"turn from evil and do good". Maybe all the rest is commentary.
@johannesschuster256
@johannesschuster256 10 месяцев назад
@@hanagloriaedelblum5693 Yes. the tent is "commentary" even a mizvah can be "commentary", the core is unknown but not unheard, - Hashem. We can realize it without seeing it. The logic around is the truth behind.

@johannesschuster256
@johannesschuster256 10 месяцев назад
@@Y1836Y Yes, i was born autistic. That means "self absorbed". Moshe also was "self absorbed " in the Mishkan. The relationship with Hashem is always self - absorbed. That iss not the point !
@johannesschuster256
@johannesschuster256 10 месяцев назад
@@Y1836Y That is an aspect i kept in mind through the day: Self - absorbed is the oppsite of - a dissipating self. Thus if you are still absorbed in you yourself, it means to be a true self without the volatile part of being not absorbed in symbiotic parts of the identity. And of cause "the biggest fan" means to feel - subjectively happiness the most, which at all is a true statement. I can not feel your happiness, thus mine is, for me the biggest one ! So, from my point of happiness, i am his biggest fan. Maybe you are his biggest fan too, so he has to biggest fans :) If everybody would be Hashems biggest fan, the world would be wonderful.

Very good and inspiring speech. Very accurate description about the current state of religion. In view of current state of advances in understanding sciences and religions, it is a historic opportunity for talented people to work together for the purpose of making sciences and religions to be closer to the truths of the universe. For example, we must redefine what science is and what religion is. My version of definition is as follows: science is about the study of the material aspect of the universe, while religion is about the study of the spiritual aspect of the universe. In other words, the universe consists of at least two worlds: the world of matter (i.e., the focus of study by science) and the world of lives or souls (i.e. the focus of study by religion). Anyway, the civilization of the earth should move to a higher level by bringing science and religion together hand-in-hand so as to gain the understanding of the full face of the universe. This is the only way for us to make the earth to be a better place for all lives and souls.

The dad of the kid said you can't each chips and salsa on this day because corn was never part of the jewish diet at the time of moses. And the kid was like it is just fried flat bread made of corn no yeast. And the dad said no. Those taco chips are not part of this holiday. I wonder looking back at this if eating chips and salsa was too much like the christian communion thing where you have a cracker and some grape juice. Missed the point of honor thy father and mother.

@michaelanderson6456 Blech. Not what we're here for. We're here to do for others. We don't have to love them to do for them. We do because we're supposed to. For G-d. To perfect His world.

Your right..those we help, enjoy our efforts, yet think its for our needs rather than Gods need for us to help..its our living mission to be helping other to make this a better wholesome, kinder, happy, loving, egar to7 want to teach other to do the same ..palace to thrive on earth...we need to make it a better place for all ..Gods children

Great comments, great way of Life; such a pity the greater majority of us Humanbeign do not have the slightest clue that the Hebrew people and THEIR WAY OF LIFE is G-D'S Created perfect plan for HIS Creation,Hebrew in the ways HE purposed for them in HIS Edicts and Comandments, and Gentiles/Goyim the way HE provides for them in the Noahide way of life. G-D BLESS you Rabbi Friedman.
