I just wanted to take a moment to thank the people who dutifully perform this line of work, everyday heros behind the scenes keeping cities, neighborhoods and communities clean, sanitary, and just a more beautiful environment to live in. truly, thank you.
I drove a street sweeper for the city of Fullerton California and it was a lot of fun. The thing about it would be the residents would sweep their leaves and debris from the yard into the curb and the sweeper would fill up too fast and I wouldn’t get the route done because you’d have to go back to the maintenance yard to empty the sweeper and you run out of time to finish the route. The sweeper would get jammed with sticks people would throw in the gutters.
Imagine that. A street sweeper that actually cleans the street. Unlike the ones in Los Angeles that just blow the dirt and trash around. Also, giving the excuse to the city to write street sweeping tickets.
The city machines are deliberately designed to do a bad job so the city can explain that the streets are still dirty and they need more money to hire more layabouts to vote for them. Welcome to the never-ending cesspool of city politics.
@@musicu-gp6to the city designates a day and time to "sweep" a street say Thursday from 8-5. If you park on that side of the street, wham a $70 ticket! Gotta love los Angeles
Nos países desenvolvidos, onde geralmente a mão de obra não é farta, vê-se essas máquinas modernas , que seriam pouco usadas aqui no Brasil...caso contrário, desempregariam muita gente.
The leaf vacuum following 5:00 does a great job on dry leaves. Just like the ones we had in the 1950s. Only problem is if those leaves are wet--they usually are in New England--the vacuum will jam quickly and take a lot of time and effort to clear. This segment doesn't address that problem!
FORGET THE LEAVES! Sweeping up the "woke" politicians AND the entitled homeless is the first step in addressing the REAL problem. Keep voting democrat and soon your city will look like S.F. too!
Nice cleaning because of great engineering work in those machines but would be better if they could save that priceless water. I mean another alternative for water.
@@paragsaini7284 a couple of hours to a few days, and also they probably don't use drinking water and cleaning it manually is something your country doesn't want to do because they are lazy, I would know because I come from India also air suction uses a lot of power which uses fossil fuels as India doesn't have a lot renewable power which releases pollution which makes your country worse and worse, have you seen the state of your entire country? It is disgusting
Hey, we could use one of those in Sweden. All we have invented is the scoop machine for cleaning our beaches. 12:33 Holy crap, it's in Sweden! The sign on the uilding says Hus, meaning House!
