I watched this with my best friend and she said “imagine watching someone being tortured like this” and I said “let’s not” and then she said “imagine the horrible pain of these tortures” and I said “LETS NOT!”

Back in the Vietnam war,the VC would tie people up and cut their stomach open and would put a starving rat inside them and the rat would eat the person's organs.The VC would also tie a person up and put bag on the person's head and put a starving rat in the bag and the rat would eat the person's face.

Still execution is way better than life in prison most likely getting soaped in solitary. I mean you do feel pain from the death, but it only lasts for a short while compared to the agony of being in solitary for decades.

Intriguingly some more modern (not all of them) torture methods are less gory and even less near lethal such as sleep deprivation,simply showing a bright light in the torture/interrogation subject's face,white room torture, playing overly loud rock music at a victims almost bleeding ears, sodium threopal (truth serum), randomly having the fully clothed victim an unessecery shower, invading a victims personal space,making the victim stand in a vat of freezing cold water, solitary confinement, sensory deprivation,rolling a victim through giant rollers till they vomit, leaving them half starved or completely starved for long periods of time such the maximum amount of time a human being can go without food one week,verbal abuse,peer pressure (for example introducing a prisoner or kidnap victim to large community of people who are all wearing the same uniforms,rags and/or clothes except for them, waterboarding and even the possibility of VR torture where a person's worst phobias,fears or fear are used against them and they are exposed to them in Virtual reality
