Never tried Cobra products in my 25 years of playing golf but my daughter who is a nationally ranked Jr golfer put this driver in her bag. She tried almost every new 2023 drivers at the fitting center and Aerojet max 9* with 65g shaft was her choice and it was easy. She doesn't care about the brand names like I do instead her only concerns is the performance of the equipment. She took it out today and missed only one fairway shot in tight par 4 dogleg to the left. She was hitting little longer with this driver compare to others but the accuracy was the wow factor. Under the Trackman numbers, Aerojet performed much better than well known Stealth 2, Paradym, Ping G430 and Titelist TSR. The fitting took two days and 2hrs each from two different fitting centers. And both fitter agreed Aerojet outperformed others.
I've been wondering the very same thing. As morikawa said - Sadness. Thomas has left to be director of instruction at a new place. Sure hope he can still feature in future videos.
Great review. What shaft did you use in the 3 heads? It would be beneficial to have someone with a swing speed of 95-100 mph testing these new drivers.
I loved the LTDx LS, but I did struggle to get height sometimes. But I'd rather have that then the balloons I get with non LS drivers sometimes, just too spinny for me. It seems the regular Aerojet has tamed that and gone directly in the middle so I'm excited about this one!
A lot of the heads are similar from all the producers BUT picking the correct shaft is MASSIVELY critical now. i really hope the average Joe can get access to different shafts. Not everyone has TXG or others close by.
COBRA!!!🐍⛳ Currently loving my Ventus Blue colored Cobra LTDX LS 9 head matched with the Ventus Blue Velocore 8TX with Jumbomax mediums #6 at my club in driving distance and that was only with two days on the long drive monitor and forgot I added 5 grams 10 -8gram config to the head should be faster farther when I do the 5 and 8 gram vs stock 10 3 setup I like better.
I just nabbed a used (2-3 rounds) used Aerojet LS for $200.. he liked it but went back to Ping… he liked the “sound” of the Ping. Hey it’s a win for me
LOL, that’s an understatement. I believe Kevin feels VERY comfortable with a Cobra driver in his hands. This is why people should go for a fitting, certain heads/shafts etc will produce vastly different results. Granted this is a stock combo and so was the Callaway. I am happy Kevin got to redeem himself a bit from that Callaway Driver review as he was struggling to control that thing. Kevin’s a great addition to the 2nd Swing RU-vid Channel.
Bryson who? I have a Cobra LTDX LS which I like a lot but I am not lining up to support someone on the LIV Saudi Sportswashing League. Our veterans, victims of 911 and every women on the planet who want to leave their house without their husbands permission deserve more respect.
