Loreta: "I got bitten everywhere. Okay, it's fine, it doesn't matter" Such a devoted, caring and brave woman. Very stressful rescue here. I'm so happy the mom was not feral so she as well as her babies can be adopted into loving homes. Awesome rescue, everyone.
Definitely most challenging, and we just got extremely lucky there... it could have turned to be a complete disaster. I learned from it, and hopefully the next one will be easier :-)
They crushed it by pulling the rope, and then tried to crush it again by pulling it back. Kittens are so fragile. I know they are doing their best but I wish they had been able to put out a food trap instead. The very first screech should have told them they were crushing the kitten.
@@LadyIarConnacht exactly and all he did was telling them to push harder even tho he couldn't see anything and heard that the kitten was screaming in pain. I really got angry
I was in tears when I saw Cosmos stuck like that! His cries were absolutely, gutwrenchingly, heartbreaking. Then my female cat, Tiggie, came running to see what she could do for the baby. I had to turn the sound off for both of us. So happy he was able to be saved! The whole time I was thinking, just pull it hard and fast off him. Thank goodness it turned out well.
Definitely stressful, for Loreta it was painful, but every time we do one of these, we learn new tricks. If you missed Jessie's rescue, it's kind of a similar situation, but this one was vertical! 😎 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7auXTfgONgc.html
I agree. I was so stressed out and I had to remind myself that not all rescues are smooth and sometimes you just have to do whatever you can to get the animal and give them a better life than living in some pipes. I’m interested to see if the last kitten grows up and see if he’ll be a scampy little troublemaker. 😸
I apologize for this... I definitely wanted to be honest and give people the warning that it's not an easy one to watch. Tomorrow's video will not be easy to watch either 😐
@@hopeforpaws No apology necessary as far as I'm concerned...you did warn us but I would watch either way. I'm just so thankful that there is a 'Hope For Paws' out there handling both the easy and the difficult rescues! This was definitely a stressful one!
You could see him dying, slipping away... I'm so grateful that things turned out okay, they almost didn't. Your ability to stay calm and think straight in emergencies is phenomenal.
Stay calm and think straight? Are you kidding!? That guy is always in panic mode during rescues. Just listen to the way he talks. He wants to be their leader, but he has no leadership qualities whatsoever and totally confused. I'm a born leader, but I'm willing to follow anyone who knows what they're doing, otherwise, I would tell them to step aside. If I was there, he would have certainly stepped aside, no two ways about it.
@@artinvartanian4631 You have absolutely no idea of how hard these rescues are. You're just boasting, and a true leader is a person who doesn't brag and cares for the team and their goal. You're just bossy, and 'bossy' and 'leader' are not the same thing. They have saved so many animals with their kind and courageous hearts, and all your doing is criticizing them and thinking that you are 'better'.
@@neethubireddy WTF would you know about any of this? Those rescues are hard because the person in charge doesn't know what he's doing and his best ideas are dumb ideas. I'm not boasting, I'm criticizing them all for blindly following that dumbo's orders without giving it any thought. Their leader is no leader. I'm not interested in your whiny BS or your heroes. My concern is for the animal and nothing else. I don't think I'm better, I know I'm better and you're just as clueless as they are, so you should keep quiet.
@@artinvartanian4631shut up, he never brags about being their leader and just because you think he's panicking doesnt mean he is and even if he is he always tries to solve things out and it turns out great, and no one cares if you think that you are "born leader" a true leader does not think that way. go away and start a youtube channel if you think you are better than him.
Absolutely love when I get to see both Loreta and Eldad in rescues together! And of course Joann always does an awesome job too, the whole team is just amazing. What an incredible rescue, I cannot believe how well you handled such a dangerous situation. Thank you so much for all you do!
JoAnn is a pro. Loreta is an animal lover but an amateur rescuer and careless. She wants to be Eldard or JoAnn but they have years of experience and have knack for understanding the right time to grab the animals. Loreta is taking too many risks. This is why you see Eldard giving instructions/warnings to her more.
Mama was truly amazing. Of course, she has no idea of the dangers of a construction zone - but she sure found a place where no predators could hurt her babies! Not to mention that they looked so healthy - she kept the clean and well-fed. Nice to see her accepting affection after being caught. And how wonderful for her to be able to relax now and know that her babies are safe and sound. Hope she's adopted into a wonderful home.
Yeah so it doesn’t bother you that in such a perfect place to hide her lovely kittens could and would kiss a fucking goodbye. Nice logic bro keep going
@@UsuallyDestroyer - What an ugly comment. Are you ok? Of course it bothered me that her babies were in danger. Don't go putting words in other people's mouth. You hurt yourself and others that way.
I hope Loreta's injuries heal as quickly as possible without any issues, her and your team's dedication to helping animals of all kinds is more than admirable. I hope you have a great year ahead of guys.
@@StillPooh62 : It's not rabies; cats have special difficult bacteria in their mouths that make a cat bite particularly dangerous. The Director of Infectious Diseases told me so when I ended up in the hospital a couple of times from cat bites.
OMG I was so scared for that little boy, thank the good lord he wasn't hurt to badly. I hope Loreta is ok, she is the Mama Bear to all these babies!!!!
Oh the poor, poor baby that got himself stuck under the ball. My heart absolutely broke for him every time he cried. Thank God you were able to rescue them all!
I was getting stressed and worried just by watching it. I can't even begin to imagine how hard it must have been for you to go through it. Thank you for always showing up to help animals in need.
I burst into to tears the moment you got him out.... I was holding my breath through that last one.... Omg you guys are just incredible!! I can only imagine how you guys feel after a rescue like this one.... Beautiful babies and names for the family as well, yea Loretta!! Hope 4 Paws absolutely rocks!!!!
I was literally going to cry when the last one got stuck . It was like i was stuck and can't breatheee .. you people are amazing . A great example of humanity👍💖
13:34 was a tense and dangerous situation. Glad it ended well. The whole family is beautiful including the mom. Wish we could adopt them all. Fantastic rescue HFP.
Wow you wasn't kidding about this being stressful just watching this. I actually had to pause and read the descriptions to make sure it ended well before finishing watching it. Thank you all for the amazing rescues you guys do
Hi Jill. I'm glad you managed to watch all of it... I know it wasn't an easy one (to watch or accomplish). Tomorrow's video will also be pretty hard to watch, but it's just our reality here... we usually get the calls about the harder stuff. 🤷♂️
Shoutout to the construction people who made sure the flower family got safely out of the site! I know they gave tight time restraints, but they didn’t have to let anyone even try. So happy that little furry family is now safe, thank you for the rescue! Loreta, hope you are well, I have been bitten by a cat, I know it hurts like crazy and your bravery in not letting the kitten go as well as continuing to help with the rescue is astronomical. 💕
“It’s like a colonoscopy” 😂 never thought I’d hear that from a rescue lol amazing rescue as always you really go above and beyond to save them and it’s so heartwarming to see ❤️ lots of love and support from nz
That was funny. The rest of the video I was on pins and needles holding my breath. Thank God everything turned out OK. Eldad, Loretta, and Joanne, you are all heroes! 🤩🤗❤❤❤
This was absolutely terrifying. I honestly thought that 4th kitten had died in the pipe when we first saw him. Thank you SO much for all you do. I hope Loretta is doing OK after getting bitten 5 times! Stay safe, we love you. Happy Holidays! ❤️
"Died" because they were killing it with that rope. Rescues sometimes turn into destruction of life with all these ropes and balls and nets. They crushed him.
@@LadyIarConnacht In the end, everything worked out fine. The kitten would have certainly died if it stayed in that pipe. It's easy to judge when one's not there to come up with plans to help these animals out of precarious situations. I, for one, think they are doing amazing things every hour of every day. This was a tense rescue, but all's well that ends well.
My admiration for Loreta! I hope the best for her five cat bites, please see the doctor! A few years ago I had to separate my two fighting cats. On this occasion the tom-cat bit my right hand and my family docotor told me to have an operation in order to avoid inflammation - all is okay (and they told me that a doctor they knew lost a hand when he separated his two fighting dogs!).
@@LadyIarConnacht I really got so damn angry when they came up with that ball for obvious reasons of suffocation risk! And when I saw that he told to pull harder while hearing the kitten screaming in pain and him giving instructions to pull harder without seeing the kitten I was fuming!!!!
i am happy to see that the girls are already adopted. I hope Cosmos will also soon find his forever home to forever leave the stressful times behind. You are doing a great Job out there
What truly amazes me is that Loreta gave up being a world class singer and all the fame that goes with it, to save animals. Her heart is as big as the world. Thank God for Hope For Paws, you guys are awesome. 👍👍👍👍👍
@@wioi yeah there are enough singers and wannabe singers in the world. Here she is saving lives. I’m sure she could still release songs if she wanted to
@@wioi and you don't know that she wouldn't have been either. Just move past the positive posts if you can't just be nice. She was singing for 20000 people at age 7, studied music and had a contract with warner brothers records, so I'd personally say that she had a good chance to be a well known singer.
The kittens are so cute. You are doing something awespme that most people wouldnt think of. It is sad how lots of you rescues are to animals people abandon. Animals have needs just as much as humans and you are fulfilling their needs
That was a stressful rescue, I felt allmost sick when the kitten got stuck, but you must have felt way worse than me. Thank you for the great work you all do. Greetings from my two dogs and me here in Norway
Once again you make me happy and proud to be a donor - best 35 dollar spent every month. I had lined up a cup of coffee, some dates and an orange, but this was so nerve wrecking, that the dates almost got stock in my throat, amazing it all ended well. Not that I consider the videos entertainment or movies, I just enjoy watching animals rescued, knowing you rescue so many more than the ones, who makes it to youtube.Thank you for everything you do, also because it arises awarness about animals and inspire others to act.
Thank you so much Herdis! We definitely don't want to come and rescue a date out of your throat (but we will if needed). 🙃 We really appreciate you for being a part of this... Sakura, Peony, Magnolia, Camellia, Cosmos and so many others THANK YOU ❤️❤️❤️
@@hopeforpaws Thank you. Nice to know I can be rescued, should I get in serious trouble. I hope you have a super-sonic plane, since Denmark is so far away from you :-)))))))))
No words on this...You people have my deepest love and respect...as always! 😽😽 P.S. The construction workers would definitely give all the time you need if it was one of their kids in there...this is one of the main reasons why we humans are lesser species than all the others of this planet 😔😔 P.S.2 14:30 ...definitely one of the most stressful moments in years... 😰😰😰😰😰
These people are doing an INCREDIBLE job of rescuing animals … they never give up … many people would have !!!!!! Thank you to the all team ❤ we love you for your dedication and love for these animals who have every right to live …….
You all go the extra mile with your rescues! Risking your lives on freeways, going into sewers and bleeding from bites but shaking it off because the animals come first! Beautiful kitty family. 😻
It broke my heart when the ball was pushing against the little kittens lungs but when i watch u guys vids and how u just had the guts to pull it. I swear it was so nerv reaking! But u guys are the best rescue channel.
What an absolutely terrifying rescue!! OMG I couldn't breathe while that baby was stuck!! I can't imagine being there and being so helpless!!! You guys did an amazing job!! Such beautiful kitties!!!
I see something different, so it was more animal cruelty than animal rescue - so if nothing better came out of 1200 suggestions, then it's very sad. Luckily the kittens survived, but it was by far the worst animal rescue I've ever seen.
@@christiang.9485 How would you of rescued them? I think the rescuers did an amazing job for what little time and options they had. Edit: it was a very scary and stressful situation but they are doing what they can. And I'm glad all the kittens are okay
@@christiang.9485 I would love to see you do it better than them, professionals. But you’re just sitting your ass on your bed commenting these things like you’re the expert. They did absolutely amazing despite the little time they had.
A very challenging rescue made even more stressful by the time limitation set by the construction workers of one hour! I kept thinking they were going to turn up before you’d got all the kittens out to say ‘time’s up’. In those circumstances Id be in too much of a panic to think coherently. How you kept a clear enough head to cope with the kitten who got stuck I do not know. You’re such an amazing team, and credit must go to whoever came up with the idea of a ball on the rope as well. The end result speaks for itself, a litter of healthy kittens and even their mum in safe keeping. Excellent work!
This is the most stressful rescue I've ever seen in this channel. Loretta is a brave woman and you are the greatest team. God bless you and help you always with all your rescues.
WOW 😳 that was a "hair raising" lol video! You guys are the bomb. It takes patience! Loretta, I understand the cat bites. I'm a cat groomer and it really hurts, but you will heal! It's all worth it to know to his family is safe. I do use gloves when working with aggressive cats. Great video guys! 🥰🐾🤗💕❤️🐾
God bless all this beautiful people, that’s do all this things rescuing animals, my love 😍 goes to all of them, and my like 👍 thank you 🙏 for this wonderful work that you are doing, lots of health and hugs 🤗 love 💕 peace ✌️ I hope the last cat make it, God bless you all, I love you 😘❤️💕 all, plenty of love 💕 from Queen 👸
Wow, you guys were really under the gun with this rescue. Hats off to Loretta for not letting go of the kitten when it bit her. I know she was in a lot of pain. I was biting my nails watching this. They sure are beautiful kitties. Are they blue cream calicos?
@@DARWINZOO Unfortunately as someone that volunteers with an animal rescue charity yes I can. Frankly we have been treated like a costly nuisance at best more times than I can count. Yes that does include being given ultimatums to remove the "problem" in an unreasonable amount of time so they can get back to making money.
@Seraphina ah. I see I did my "snarky sarcasm" on this comment. Countless times this has not translated. I should work at it. LOL wasn't right. Basta rds probably was. At the time I watched this I was saying aloud to myself "f the insurance!" And while I'm Pro Union "stupid Union!"? Unlike a gray squirrel attic infestation though you would think that the Construction company would be concerned with abetting kitten m ur Der & conscious of a social media explosion
A black and red plaid blanket just like that my cat was wrapped up in before and after they were euthanized because they had really serious cancer, and I still have that blanket to this day. He only passed away a couple months ago but it feels like an eternity. Happy you ended up getting the kittens out, and got the mom too. And I bet them, and the mom got adopted to awesome families. 😊💕
Awesome rescue. Loretta, you deserve a special medal of valor, for continuing the rescue after being bitten multiple times, without a complaint. It’s amazing how calm the family became, so quickly after their harrowing rescue. Hope For Paws! You are wonderful!
The number of times they DON'T wear protective gloves is amazing! Loreta left the gloves in the car. Actually Eldad shudda reminded her to bring the gloves -- knowing she'd be the Main Grabber -- because her hands are more precious than crates of gold -- and his job1 is to treasure her health. I wud. ♡♡
Wow, I found myself holding my breath throughout that rescue. Amazing work from HFP and kudos to the construction crew for allowing you to get that precious cat family. The cries of Cosmos were heart wrenching and I am so happy all are safe. Mama cat, Sakura, is so sweet and I am happy she is not feral and for sure all will get an amazing forever home.💕
This rescue bout gave me a heart attack! I was screaming! I can see why that rescue was so stressful! So glad everyone's safe! Mama & all the kittens are gorgeous! Hope Loretta's hand is okay.
That's the first rescue I've seen requiring "hard hats." I trust Loretta is okay! You gals and guys are terrific, outstanding examples of humanity! Thanks so much to all of you.
Always a pleasure watching animals being rescued..worldwide, rescuers, thank you, bless you,...lets hope for better times, times where there is no more abuse and neclect.
what a dream that is - we will always have too many irresponsible, selfish owners who think nothing of abandoning an innocent animal - thinking "someone else" can assume my responsibility to this animal. People move house & "forget" they have a cat. I saw it too often on the surrender sheet ........"moved to unit - could not take cat." Well YOU KEEP LOOKING TILL YOU FIND A PLACE THAT WILL ACCEPT A CAT, DON'T YOU???" I would live in a TENT before I gave up any animal of mine. They are my KIDS.
Once again Loreta puts herself in the line of fire. She is an absolute angel. Thank you to the whole team for rescuing the family, that was painful to watch even knowing the outcome was good, I can only imagine the mental fortitude needed to do this knowing you might fail. It’s a big responsibility, thank you for taking it on.
Wow, HFP to the rescue like MacGyver! This was intense and stressful, but good to see these cute, fluffy, screaming kitties safe. Also painful for Loretta (so hope she's okay now, too.)🐱
Thank you Hope for Paws team! And a huge THANKS to the construction company for allowing/facilitating this rescue! This is exactly why I'm a Hope for Paws supporter! Cosmos made me cry! I had so much anxiety. You guys are the absolute best! Loretta, I hope your hand heals quickly!
