My favorite 'comedian vs. morning show host' moment has to go to Bill Burr. The host tried to shame Bill for making a joke about Catholics and said something like "I think that's too far" and Bill instantly quips back "Hasn't the Catholic Church gone too far?" Hooooooooly shit dude
The real art in this is actually that The Morning Show producers were very well aware of what he was going to do, and in the end, their job is to get ratings. So they play the, “Hey, you can’t say that,” game, in order to preserve their “wholesome” image, while they are in fact, simply taking advantage of something that they know will sell.
@@firstnamelastname-ve9gjAmazon has been talked about online for harshly treating their workers (constantly overworking them, not letting them take breaks, etc.). Whether it’s true I don’t know, but that was the talk of the town online about Amazon for a while
I feel like they’re smart enough to know it’s their job to act the way they’re acting and have all this class but they still know he’s gonna bring in the viewers and get them some attention
It was weak and cringe. All he did is say he saw Amazon treats employees well. Which is false. So he just said the opposite of the truth. A 10 year old could have made that observation.
I have to say, might have been uncomfortable to be in. But, that was comic gold. The chick seemed to be ok once she realized what you were doing, however, the dude looked like he wanted to swing on you. For the record, I think you could take him.
Not sure what was more awkward, the faux threat of not having him back or the reaction of the hosts when he said "I can finish in 30 seconds, just ask my girlfriend".
