I think in general WAYV is a little underrated, Kun and Xiaojun are amazing vocalist (Kun is my bias) his rap and dance line are great as well and all his songs are bops. You forget that if the MV has a shirtless scene give it to WAYV xD #FreeLucas

I wanna say this was technically wayV’s debut song over the song ‘regular’ , only because it was their first single as a group and without sharing with NCT 127, and by the way Ten in this MV 🔥🔥🔥 the choreographer for this song, her name is Rie Hata she on instagram, choreographed for Chris Brown, Ateez, Omarion, so many more… she lit dancer.

If they have a comeback I PRAYYYYYY it's with all 7 members. They have been separated for way to long. And my heart can't take it anymore :( Free Lucas!

You should watch the behind the scenes of this MV. They're freezing their asses off the entire time. They're somewhere in Ukraine. Any time Yangyang was hanging out the window of that race car, Kun was yelling at him to be safe lmao. Kun has said they were recording in February. I THINK they're all going to spend some time off at home before they start promotions. At this point, Kun is the only one left to go back to China. Ten will probably go back to Thailand after he finishes filming his dance show in China.

One thing that I find interesting about WayV's "Take Off" MV, is that if you watch "Take Off" with an eye for looking for connections and theories, an argument could be made that the storyline in "Take Off" may have been designed to connect WayV -- and more specifically, Ten and Lucas -- to "SuperM's storyline. "Take Off" came out even before we knew that SM was even considering creating SuperM. But with all that I know about how SM spends years working on creating stories and connecting storylines between MVs and between its groups, it wouldn't surprise me if SM may have been planning ways to draw connections between WayV and SuperM even when the concept for "Take Off" was created. If you notice, there are several "superhero-like" elements in the "Take Off" MV that are similar to SuperM's and EXO's storyline and they could potentially be connected. Not only, because this was WayV's debut song, do the lyrics talk about being ready to take off -- as in they are ready to be launched onto the scene and become superstars -- but I think it is also supposed to be interpreted like they are ready to launch into orbit and join in the fight to help EXO battle the Red Force. For instance, we see Xiaojun suspended in the air with wings a lot like Lucas in WayV's "Turn Back Time" MV and SuperM's "One (Monster & Infinity)" MV. And we also see a lot of WayV's storyline has an otherworldly, futuristic and digital theme which could now be connected to aespa's storyline. aespa is NCT's sister group, so that usually means there are similarities between the groups and, when it comes to SM, it also means that their storylines are probably connected. I also think all the drones we see in "Take Off" are connected to the drones we see in "Moonwalk" as well as in SuperM's "One (Monster & Infinity) and even Kai's solo debut "Mmmh" MV, etc. "Take Off" is another part of NCT's dream concept as well, so what you are seeing in the MV could be interpreted as different things to do with dreams and dreaming. Real things like the dream of wealth, the dream of fame, the dream of the perfect body (LOL), as well as things that only happen when you are literally dreaming, such as Xiaojun's wings and Ten's glowing eyes, etc. If you want to see what it was really like while they were filming this MV, you should check out their WayV-ehind video of them shooting the MV, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zTBpQUe_APs.html. It was a really cold day, so they were freezing the whole time, and yet you would never know it from the MV. And as always, you have to check out their dance practice for "Take Off."

Xiaojun is levels above anyone I’ve ever encountered, that man is special in so many ways, the most accomplished well rounded performer to date. And definitely agree with your comparison to these western artists he is literally the epitome of a western artist his looks his style his aura and that voice....

Have you seen their debut performance at MAMA 2019? Their first performance on stage as WayV is absolutely mesmerizing I forgot they were the brand new group at that time lol. But song aside, this is the first time I saw an idol really hanging out of the window of drift car while it doing some crazy spinning I'm so horrified! and to do this stunt in just a song debut mv? Well WayV is a CPop, not a Kpop group coz their main market is China.

Again with the constent....."come on....(insert which ever member he happens to see on screen)" is it really necessary to call out each member when they show up. Yes we get it you know who they are...so do we and the same thing everytime Lucas or Ten show up. It gets old. I used to like this guy but......
