Key phrase you said was “how ‘we’ talked about those programs” being outsiders / media. Drink was 5-5 against all SEC competition for his 1st year. 2021 was disappointing, but 2022 was 4 single possession games away from a 10 win season. 2023 11-2. Mizzou fans saw 1 down year, 1 improvement year, 1 surprise year and 1 successful year coupled with the best recruiting in the history of the program. That’s why there’s optimism.

This is the first time in my lifetime that Texas did not fall apart like two dollars watch, after losing to Oklahoma. It was also a rare occasion for Oklahoma to lose momentum after beating Texas. I think Oklahoma is going to beat Texas again this year, but Oklahoma gains momentum and wins throughout the season. BOOMER SOONER 4 LIFE

When A&M actually gets to the SEC Champion game, then talk shit, I'm not impressed. Wasted all that money on a money vac HC, and you still had one of the top recruiting classes. If Texas goes to the playoffs this in their first season and A&M doesn't, that will be an interesting portal opening for the Aggies.

No it won’t be an interesting portal opening it’s mike Elko’s first season and he’s already 180° the culture. Elko will recruit better and develop miles better than jimbo ever did. Sarkisian will start drinking alcohol again and it will go down the drain

First things first. I am noway a mizzou fan. Drink has 2 things going for him in '24. A damn STRONG offense and the EASIEST schedule in the SEC. Saw a SOS ranking during the week. mizzou had one P4 program with an easier schedule. VT was slotted one spot lower. Both were somewhere in the upper 70's-80's.

"They lost a ton to the portal" then not acknowledge the top 3 portal class is weird. I'll be the 1st to admit the aggies underperform a lot but dont leave that point sounding like they're anemic.

In 2022 they lost 3 games by 1 touchdown or less. People sleeping on Texas. They are finishing games better and the roster is stacked and deep. Georgia was in this position not that many years ago.

Texas is stacked, especially in the trenches. That's recent history. They were terrible in the trenches for a decade...times have changed

What people forget about Texas and Sarks 2nd Season is they lost 3 games by 1 touchdown or less in the regular season. They have always had the talent and just couldn't finish ball games. So was last year really that big of a stretch? I do not think they are underrated but they definitely could lose a few games they probably shouldn't and they could surprise beat Michigan, Georgia and Oklahoma then turn around and lose to Arkansas and Texas A&M. Their roster is so stacked.

I don’t know Texas Took care of business Convincingly against Michigan and have outscored rest of their opponents.Georgia on the other Hand struggled against Kentucky who Georgia should have Blown out,and not everyone is paying attention to Tennessee !!! It’s looking good for Texas right now but still lots of Football to be played. It’s gonna be an interesting season for SEC

Last year.. 2020 all SEC schedule.. Notre Dame then Ohio st. What a crock.. Go back 15 years and look at all of Bama's schedules and the teams they played in championship games and the playoffs. What does your team schedule look like. Don't hate..

The PAC-12 was good last year. He beat a Heisman winner. He beat an Oregon team 3 times with more talent than pretty most SEC teams. He beat Texas twice who beat Alabama in Tuscaloosa last year. Obviously, he’s not the best coach ever. But to say he hasn’t proven he’s an elite coach so far is disingenuous. He made the title game with zero five stars in his second year as a P5 head coach… how is that not impressive?

I don't agree with most of what your saying. Have you even looked at Bama's current roster. People are always harping at what they lost in the portal and not talking about what they kept or what they got. Bama has a hard schedule every year. What makes this year any different?

Bama’s schedules are hard on paper because they have big brands but the teams aren’t elite and they usually get very lucky with some injury luck like Ewers getting hurt in 2022, LSU in 2021 and 2023 having most of their defense out for the Bama game, Bo Nix out for the 2021 Iron Bowl, Weigman out for the 2023 TA&M game, etc

yeah Mizzou is overrated, they do have a really easy sched tho so they should do well. Also, I do think FL will start at worst 4-1, however UT is legit and there is almost no chance FL beats them @ Rocky Top

As a Mizzou fan I have alot of respect for OU. Yall owned us back in our Big 12 days. That being said I think the game in November will be a close one but being in COMO we have a good shot. Since we haven't played each other in 10+ years I don't think OU is the boogeyman they used to be to Mizzou. I could definitely be wrong. But I don't think they walk into COMO and get an easy win.

@@SoonerinTexas-lk9rf Anyone CAN beat anyone but I would literally bet my life OU doesnt beat Texas and they will be lucky to come out 1-1. If they still had Gabriel maybe id feel different but Arnold doesnt scare anyone. Out of the 3 teams only one has an inexperienced QB playing in the SEC.
