NCT currently has 20 members (3 members has left the group in may 2023) and the 'unlimited members' thing will end this year after the debut of their japanese sub-unit. It'd take too long to include "first of xx nationality/ethnicity" idols in a company. Its not actually unique. It's expected for companies to eventually take in foreign idols.

Black swan isn’t the first kpop group to debut with a black/mixed person. It’s Alexandra Reid from BP Rania. Fatou is the first Senegal but Reid is the first black/African American Also if u wanna go more in detail, around 1997 there was a black idol guy that debuted so he is technically the first And there was supposedly another mixed race before Reid in the late 90’s
