Another way is farm any military location you find, an army knife take 2 slot in inventory and can be scrapped for 2 metals, so you can store a lot of them in your backpack and scrap them when you have time.
to make the roof honeycomb more annoying you could put sandbags in the gaps, so the raider coulnt tell if the raid was profit or not, increasing the chances of them giving up
@@db1416 it’s not? Each sex cell has 12 pairs of chromosomes, with 24 pairs needed to make a baby. 2 men can’t split their chromosomes in half and put it in a egg.
@@jonasj2601 unless i dont remember correctly i heard about an experiment where there was a child made with dna from 3 people, granted it might have been mitochondrial dna from the third person and all that but still kinda cool
Thats exactly what i do, i hide storages on trees near border lines. If someone's breaking tree, he's probably not gonna raid even if he see's the locker/s 😂
Hey Kameding, you deserve more than 14.7k subscribers because everyone who watches your unturned tips would agree that it helps them out a lot. I think you deserve 1 million subscribers, thank you if you have read my comment
A really funny idea, just put 1 empty locker in each room (and if you want to put some in your loot room, I’ll tell you why in a second) so when the raider(s) finds the empty locker the’ll think that there’s loot in there so they wast more raiding materials like dragonfang ammo or charges trying to break it, and when they do the’ll get pretty annoyed when they realize there was no loot inside
4:21 but what if they just shoot your body? You don't have to always get headshots because the average military gun dose 40 base damage with a decent fire rate and your dead if you don't close that window fast
i built a base near very forested areas and put turrets in trees surrounded by metal fences. Made sure the turrets were 100% covered by foliage unless you got pass the metal fences (so no one could shoot them down) which was impossible because of all the turrets in the trees preventing people from getting close to the fences in the first place.
Just put a barb fence place it in the comb so the pillars of it dissappear in the wall so he has to destroy the sidewall so he can destroy barb fence and continue the raid
Definitely bring back True Survival. It's honestly the only server where I can have fun with some realistic difficulty and also not get KOSed every time I actually get good stuff. It's a great server, and I would definitely play on it again
Personally, when honeycombing my base. I have an outer pine honeycomb, inner metal, then the main area(typically contains beds). On the second floor its the same but with loot. Quite the pain getting all the pine but /shrug. Takes a lot of charges.
even if it takes 10+ charges as minimum for a 1x1, there's something called claim flag, which doesn't allow people to build over other people's territorry claimed by that flag, so you should have made calculations with dragon fang bullet.
Disclaimer: all forms of fortification are only good for slowing down attackers and making them waste ammo. If the enemy has unlimited resources, they can and will get in through sheer brute force. The only "unraidable" base is one that only you can access, like the apartments from Unturnov. Make sure you have other tactics to offset this fact, like building in hard to reach locations or having stashes hidden elsewhere that doesn't draw attention.
Disagree, plates will keep your base secure while not having it be so far away from anything. Survival games are meant to grind. Bigger the group, stronger the base. It’s how survival games are meant to be. Building a base in the corner of the map is extremely impractical
Bit isnt the Problem That all the very safe walls arent assencial because you only have To go through the 4 doors to get in. Everyone would decide to damage the doors instead of the walls
Hi Kameding, I get my new 1440p monitor and basic 1.0 scale for HUD makes it very small, 2.0 is too much and everything between that is getting blured and out of sync. Is there any way to set some wierd value (for example 1,335) to get good size of HUD without destroying it?
The main problem i found is that the wall honeycomb works fine when raided the front, but if you raid the side of the wall the honeycomb is a lot less effective, and the wall nor plates take 3 charges, an actual raider will use 2 charges and maybe 10 rounds of dragon fang ammo, and he also did not show how to make this in a triangular form but you can just use squares instead. Yeah this method is not as u N R a I d A b L e as he says but is more effective than nothing
did you test this with the splash radius of the C4? Nelson needs to nerf the splash damage, also needs to make claimflags extend to sky limit. Game is so broken right now, raiding is beyond easy, pointless to even build
sadly this doesnt work for me in my modded unturned server because we have modded rpgs that will penetrate through one wall and explode inside dealing huge internal damage
You can’t destroy the side wall when only one side of the wall is out to the open. It’s a honeycomb, you aim the plate towards the outer perimeter so the raider has to go through them. A base like this would take at the very least 30+ charges to raid
