The Bobcat skid steer broke a shaft and the hot water heater sprung a leak. 2 pieces of equipment that we can't do without. Thankfully the guys know what to do to get them back up and running.
Thanks for watching!

But they cant figure out that their hot water tanks are burning up because they are not vented. They are running multiple gas fired water heaters indoors. They all are designed to have a vent or chimney go up and over the roof. Its the whole reason they are burning up. They are also subjecting themselves to carbon monoxide when they are in that room.

13:30, "... we made it work" is the never-ending theme of the farm projects. Good on Kevin for such an attitude, one that is in Sydney and Ethan as well. (Sanders not part of these projects, but has his own). This is stark contrast to so many people, "... can't do this ...."

i just sat at a co-op meeting where they said they HAVE to raise their prices again this year cause they HAVE maintainence and buildings and lights and equipment to buy and upgrade and employees and benefits to pay for and they hope we farmers understand? a older farmer stood up and said EVERY farmer has the SAME things to keep up BUT we ARE not allowed to raise our prices to cover our costs to ANY one. the co-op guys did NOT like that at all!

Ethan was correct. Everyone runs on hoses. Veins. Arteries. Hopefully, Pinto stays at the barn. If she takes the cat to her new home the cat will try to run back to your/its house. You have to keep cats locked up for weeks until they get used to their new house. If they get out they're gone and she probably wouldn't find it. We didn't. One of our kids didn't see the cat run pass them. She was gone. They say cats try to get back home by making big circles and work their way out until they get back. Which rarely happens unfortunately. Best to keep them at their home for their own well being.

You need to go to a smart water tank with a exchanger built in. It would let you run your domestic water in the tank and go ahead and hook your tankless heater to the exchanger side and treat your water with a product like fernox and not run your domestic water which will allow you at least a year between cleanings and as long as you will replace your anodes in the tank and flush periodically you may never replace your system again. We use systems like this in Utah where we have some of the hardest water out there. You can also go to a boiler instead of your tankless and run your water up to 200 degrees.

@billlyttle8224
@billlyttle8224 3 месяца назад
You should reinstall re water treatment system and purchase stainless steel tanks from a plumbing supply. The burner in the tank creates a problem because it heats and reheats the tank and breaks down the glass lining Then the tank fails.. Invest in the stainless tanks will save you money in the long run.

Something always breaks. Bobcat parts are also expensive here. I have a case 40 xt which has half as many working hours as yours. As for the tank, we install anodes in boilers. They should be replaced every year. There is no golden way to heat water. Many people assume heat recovery from milk to heat water for washing the milking machine. I wonder if a stainless steel tank would be better.

I have always wondered if a guy could create a by pass around the main pressure drive pump that would allow wheels an chains to rotate freely. An allow unit to be towed to shop for the fix . That's not even taking in account the carbon monoxide. Your literally venting gas appliances indoors. Not only is this dangerous it's the reason you keep burning hot water tanks up
