Granted I haven’t tossed a lot of balls this year yet but it’s gotta be Zen for sure. Can play straight or from the next lane to the left. It always comes back, I hate meme’ing but Zen ball good.
i have hyroad max as my benchmark middle of bag, and its actually pretty versatile. i can play straighter on fresh and still move left and hook the lane
I've not thrown any of the balls in the Idol line, but I've been on the fence about the Helios (but I can never decide between it and the Phaze 2). Anyhow, in my current arsenal, the most versatile ball for my game (stroker on a sport shot pattern) is Altered Reality followed by Rubicon. I trend towards stronger stuff due to my stroker style. Altered has enough dig to work on heavier oil, is clean enough to work when there is some burn, and has enough backend to get back from anywhere.
I have a Gem , a Hyroad max and a purple Hammer in my bag , I love them all but if I had to go somewhere with only one ball , I’m probably taking the Hy Road Max ( plus it smells great !!)
This is a great comparison video. Three balls with the same core, but different coverstocks. Videos like this are more of what I've been looking for because it shows a difference of what and how the reactives react when and where. Jordan mentioned the versatility of the Cosmos and Phaze 2, I have both on my Christmas list... should probably wish for the ability to read lane conditions and bowl.

I miss my idol pearl I bowled my first 300 with it, when I come back to bowling there’s 2 balls I gotta get the idol pearl and the Hy-road I’ve never owned one, and I wanna try some motiv stuff like the venom if it’s still made, that might tell you how long it’s been since I bowled the DV8 line had just come out I had a misfit pearl I loved that ball it cracked on me over the years, also had the diva, terror and the hell raiser that was actually the first one I bought is got some 280’s a bunch of 279’s with it I didn’t really like it I ended up giving it to the pro shop after about 6-7 months so he could fill and sell it

these are the Tour HP, a little more stiff than the ultras and very comfortable. some people said the ultras were a little to soft and flexible. breathable too!!
Looking for advice, 2 hander, 450 ish rev, house is low friction. I have the cosmos on order, looking for a complement ball for league. Do you think the phaze 2 is too much overlap.
First want to say love the channel. I am finally coming back to bowling after not competing in 9~ years. From the age of 10-17 bowling was my life and passion. I was around a 205 average before quiting. I actually bowled the same leagues / at the same alley was wesley low jr for all 7 of those years. His parents took me to my first pepsi state tournament with him when i was probably 13. Anyways, i used to use a storm virtual gravity and a rotogrip defiant. I am sure you are not familiar with these balls much, but would love if you could check them out and see if anything currently that would be similar? From looking around the phaze 2, idol helios, and zen soul seem to be good options. The defiants stats were RG 2.49 Differential 0.054 Mass Bias Diff 0.017
i have a 18.5 to 19mph average speed. i usually throw it down the right side straight hooking it into the pocket. what do you think would be a good ball to use
i usually use a purple ham but every wants to bitch bcuz its a urethane in league but i normally dont care if it works for me screw them but sometimes late i dont know how to make the transition
@@jrproshop lol of course. my buddy has that ball but he's a 1 hander. and yeah that's what people say. have had people look over during league and just be like Jesus bro. but it's not like I'm uncontrolled with it. with me trying to "throw it slow" it still goes no lower than 17. and it looks like a snail to me I'll throw it a couple times and see if it works for me.
