Status report." The commander of the french army smiled as her horse stopped beside her 2nd in command. She unfolded the french flag and held it with grace and absolute power. "M'lady, we should enter their keep within the next hour, we have lost almost twenty thousand men, they are unexpectedly strong." Gilles de Rais glanced towards her, he had always loved her but could never bring himself to tell her his true feelings. "Looks like the big boss himself has come out to play. Order the men to stay away, you cannot deal with this." The commander grinned to herself as a massive golden energy wave burst through the keep and blasted a massive hole in the french formation. "Very well." Gilles de Rais motioned to a french soldier to sound the drum and pull all forces back. "Enough! Your farce has gone on for far too long. Jeanne!" King Arthur unsheathed her blade, the holy blade 'Excalibur' and pointed it at her, unleashing a massive pressure that forced even grown men to their knees, quaking in fear. She slowly pulled out her rapier, unleashing a massive burst of dark purple energy that shot through the very sky. "Preposterous! I will destroy each and everyone of you and protect my people! EXCALIBUR!" The ground quaked further as King Arthur fired a deadly wave of golden energy towards Jeanne. "Perish. Le Grondement de La Haine!" Jeanne fired her noble phantasm towards the king, unleashing a massive pillar of hellflame that burnt all to extinction. The clash of their noble phantasms resounded all over the planet as their fierce wills and determination clashed against each other, invoking a mighty explosion that burst into the atmosphere. ... Year 20XX "It cannot be.... how?" The saber class looked upon her foe, it was somebody she knew from long ago. "Saber, what's wrong?" Shirou shook the stunned Saber, attempting to shake her back to reality. In front of her stood a short haired armoured woman grasping a flag and a rapier by her side. "You fought for your country, so did i. It's only natural we became heroic spirits, destined to fight each other forever." The Avenger class servant laughed as she pulled out her rapier the same way she did eons ago. "This is a horrible twist of faith... I... never wanted this." Saber whispered to herself as she plucked her courage and pointed her blade towards her foe. "Enough talk! This is Jeanne d'Arc of the Avenger class! Prepare yourself!" Jeanne burst with dark energy as her rapier glowed with darkness. "Very well, this is Arthur, King of Britannia, saber class! I accept your challenge!"
