I have both Oud Bouquet and Shaghaf Oud. I use the Shaghaf Oud for layering. It layers beautifully with Shaghaf Oud Aswad (black bottle) and Afnan Edict Amberythme. I’m also loving Lattafa Bawadi which to my nose has the Shaghaf Oud/Oud Bouquet sweetness/DNA but with added spices and aromatics. I’m addicted to it.
Good evening Yana! There were some very interesting choices in this month's selection. I will have to look into Shaghaf Oud to see if I can find it over here for a good price. Thank you for a very enjoyable clip today. :0) P.S. Your hair looks a lovely colour!
Glad to see you're not influenced by the masses Yana. 🤭 Shaghaf Oud was a hype train something like 7 years ago. Sounds like the newer formulations ain't too bad!
@@Tommelise Almost certainly. Submissions to regulatory commissions need to be done regularly and must meet new standards in order to be sold. Even if a perfume smells almost exactly the same, reformulations are still happening. Whether middle eastern brands are getting around the legalities somehow I don't know, but I doubt it. You'd be surprised at just how streamlined the manufacturing process is across all tiers.
