No hate, it is just my opinion. Prajakta should know that she is the host not guest. She should listen silently to the person who is talking without interrupting, after they are complete then she can give her opinion. In her all interviews which she has taken it feels like she is the one who is guest and guest is the host. and she is not supposed to insult guest, right? World does not revolve around you prajakta.

I think that most of us got uncomfortable about the fact of what the host, Prajakta, said to Parineeti. That, she emphasised that Parineeti was someone she could relate to. But it could have ended there. You could tell there was a sense of insecurity in Prajakta's own views of herself in what she believes of beauty. Or, that she herself does not feel she is beautiful enough, reflecting that on the person sitting opposite, that was Parineeti. And two, she has told a beautiful actress indirectly that she doesn't match up to the standards of the beauty Indian actresses possess. "This is someone I can relate to." She said. I believe, firstly when we look at people's faces and judge them, we do so because we think we have to. Everyone "apparently" has to be pretty, or not pretty. No woman wants to be told she isn't beautiful. No woman isn't anyway, to the right people. Parineeti is someone who, during her highlighted acting career showed us that she can make looking Indian, beautiful. She looks simple. She looks natural. She was a representation because she had brown, as opposed to fairer skin. She has imperfections that she isn't going to do surgery for because she likes who she is. Prajakta could have phrased her depiction of Parineeti's beauty differently. If Prajkta did not bring her own insecurities to the table comparing Pari to look just like nothing. She could have then instead said, "Hey you know Parineeti, you were someone so natural as opposed to some of the other actresses!". Or, "You were different, in that you made Indian women feel represented."There was a professionalism missing from this interview, and I think we all picked up on it. We can also see, how beautifully Pari behaved in this interview. Because, she knows she's the celebrity, and Prajakta is the interviewer at the end of the day.

I think Mostly Sane owes an apology to Parineeti for deliberately making such a hurtful statement and that too on a platform such as Netflix! This behaviour or “ relatability” is not according and is rather insulting to Parineeti who’s not only senior to mostly sane is her cinema career, but has also done a very large number of films!

And I thought it's a biggest compliment for an actor to receive. Who get to do various roles which not everybody can fit in. Some actors are too polished to look or get into the skin of the character. Parineeti, Bhumi are our desi girls.
