Somehow Motorhead's "Jailbait" is slightly less creepier than Ted Nugent's "Jailbait". And I'll explain why: I interpret Lemmy's lyrics as being about the lifestyle of Rock stars from back in the day with underage groupies. As Ted's song literally goes into detail on how old she is and what he'd do to her that it almost comes across as autobiographical.

Except by all accounts Lemmy was an absolute gentleman towards women and girls, this song is most likely written from the standpoint of a guy whose 18-19 crushing on a girl whose 16-17 which at the time was known as “Jailbait” because even though the age gap is less than 5 years by law it’s statutory with a minor regardless of age of consent. That’s why in many states and in some other countries there exists laws that prevent prosecution between those ages in romantic relationships

“Jailbait” was a popular term in the mid to late 1970s when laws around the world started cracking down on relationships between adults and teenagers, which sounds fine on paper but in practice it wasn’t quite as simple, 18 year olds were being arrested for having relationships with 16 and 17 year olds so if you found a girl attractive you’d have to be careful she wasn’t “jailbait” it’s likely this song was just a bit of parody using the term as there are other songs also called jailbait that were recorded around the same time. It’s a song that resonated with young men as they were facing the issue of jailbait on a daily basis

Does it say in the Bible or other religious texts what is the correct age that a person (male or female, because this issue isn't gender specific) can have CONSENSUAL sex (we're not talking about rape here? How and on what criteria are these laws/moral standards decided, and who is the ultimate decider, the Grand Arbiter of Sexual Morality and Law, if you will? Is it our current American government? The age of consent in America before 1900 was 10 years old, btw (serious - look it up). Now obviously I don't advocate or agree with that - I'm just trying to prove a point about now arbitrary laws of consent can be based on time, place and culture. And the age of consent in the vast majority of countries around the world is 16 (and even as low as 14 in a few), which seems like the most reasonable age to me, since the majority of teens are sexually active by that age (16), so if they're sexually active, they should be old enough to make their own sexual choices and decisions. These are the complex issues that most Americans don't want to talk about in this generation - they just get shocked and enraged and hyperbolically label anyone who brings the subject up a "pedo" (which is a completely incorrect usage of that term, btw) rather than discussing it calmly and rationally.

An adult can ruin a teens life with pregnancy or easily manipulate them, the law isn’t to stop them from having sex it’s to protect them from having sex with ADULTS. And the laws with 14 (like Germany for example) isn’t where everybody can fuck a 14 year old, a 14 year old can have sex with someone I think up to 18 and when ur 16 you can have sex with anybody. No, there’s been several songs called “jailbait” which is a term that was widely popular in the mid to late 1970s as laws in the US and UK cracked down on relationships with adults and teenagers, which sounds fine on paper until you realize a 18 year old could then theoretically be arrested for sex with a minor if they were in a relationship with a 16 or 17 year old. Basically if you were a 18 year old and found a girl to be attractive they were considered “jail bait” if under the age of 18. Most likely this song is parody of this phenomenon as I stated there were other songs, one even recorded by Disney for their “band” Halyx
