Wij zongen dit voor het eerst op de begrafenis van mijn oma. Sindsdien is het ons afscheidslied geworden. Bijkomend effect is dat het ons bind als familie wanneer we dit zingen.

Is een prachtige song. Ik lees dat dit op meer afscheidsbijeenkomsten wordt gespeeld, terecht. Dit zegt alles over familie! Ik vond het eerder al een prachtig, betekenisvol lied, maar na het afscheid van mijn schoonvader blijft het die lading houden. Beetje jammer voor de makers dat het tegenwoordig vaker bij een afscheid wordt gespeeld, want het betekent zo veel meer!
