the mother is pretty bad, if I were in his place I would be grabbing her phone and reversing the changes, then when that was done then transfer the app over to his own phone and prevent her from re-installing it on her phone ( seeing as he is now in her body and as such is the one in charge) I might well regress her into a helpless baby to teach her a lesson ( although that would mean he would have to care for her as a result) If he fails at performing he job and gets dismissed it will be her fault that it happened, there would be consequences for her actions. the son correct about her being irresponsible. it will likely backfire on her in the end
