I miss growing up in Greater North Carolina Jurisdiction COGIC. We use to pray early in the morning during our various state meetings and Mother Boone would ask us kids "who is your state women's supervisor, Who is the jurisdictional prelate" I miss her soo much!
That's EXACTLY what I said this was the way we flowed with the Spirit in the old school church, Praying Travaling, Healing, Miracles, Prophesying, Raising the Dead, Casting out devils - tounges interpretation - Holiness preaching - dancing and being slain in the Spirit were ALL regular parts of our services. The people today think it's rare because they stopped praying and fasting and preaching the word. If they do back to that it will come back into the church.
What an anointing, what a blessing, I wish this would just go on and on and on! We need a lot more of this and a lot less of a lot of other things in church.

I wasn’t raised in Church, but I truly appreciate the Mother’s. I’ve been going to church in 1995 and by the Mothers we’re quiet because of the foolishness called rebellion. So by the time I got Saved at 28, in Detroit, the Mothers were still getting around the Altar calling on Jesus. Two years into Salvation I moved to Orlando Florida in 2004, I ain’t seen Mothers like that since 2000 in Detroit
That is why I feel COGIC need their own place for conventions, a place where there are no time limits. So we can enjoy the spirit as long as it is moving.

That prayer set somebody free and a Jealous spirit. I always have time for the move of God. You can't stop GOD or his spirit. Mother frances used time by talking. Love all the sainted mothers AMEN yes Lord for all you do in the spirit.
In Mother Shaw's day, SHE would have been the one telling her or anyone else that they were out of time because like Mother Kelly today, Mother Shaw was overseeing the prayer ministry. The prayer ministry can go for as long as we need for them to in our local churches and private homes as well, right?

Definitely agree! God knows I love mother Kelly but you have to understand peoples point of view on this, being that one of the only things I don't like about mother Kelly is she is SPOT LIGHT hungry, understand that there are time limits BUT TRUST when I say they could have made that time up some other way! Mother Kelly doesn't worry about time limits when she has the mic, she'll go rambling on for hours. This mother praying is one of the most anointed in all of the COGIC and during the convention she only gets this few minutes to speak, so the only time she does get the chance to get up there, mother Kelly rushes up there and gets her off the mic?? Come on now!!!!! I would have much rather heard this go over in time than some of the other things that I see go over. Little more respect to this great pioneer of God and COGIC. She deserves it, don't rush her!!!! BLOCK HER OFF SOME MORE TIME IN THE FUTURE . Ughhhh. Okay rant over .
R. Barber It seemed to me that ALL of them were spotlight hungry. And, they were ALL just trying to stir up the crowd and get them just as emotional as they could possibly get them. And, then, of course, take the offering and the tithes (because it is a known fact that when people are highly emotional - as they are in these types of services - people WILL give a *lot* more money). And, that is WHY they try to get everyone all worked up just before they take the offering and the tithes. It's a well known fact that this is true (at least to those who know how Pentecostals operate). And, I agree, that one woman should NOT have tried to move the other lady out of the way. I agree that that is TOTALLY wrong. And, go ahead and rant. That's fine!!! Sometimes, we ALL need to rant a little and just get things off our chest.
D. C. Yep, exactly. They are masters at this. They don't have to say much at all. They have them trained!!! Even certain sounds (chords or whatever) played on the instruments can trigger an emotional response (a major response, too). Or, someone just humming.They're ALL triggers to set someone off, emotionally.

Old Mother Boone!! I love her, she's from the Greater NC Jurisdiction...I remember at AIM 2010 in Charlotte, one day she was in the prayer room and usually there are no or very few young people in the room but somehow one day something drew us and the next thing I knew, that small room was packed full of young people and we went right on in!!

I Love to hear the Mothers Pray, Ghost This reminds me of my OWN Sainted Mother, Rev. Dr. Beatrice Martin, DD, Th.d praying over me when I was out in the world. The reason why I'm saved sanctified & filled with the precious Holy Ghost is because "Mother Martin" would pray over me, while I was sleeping. Thank you , she was obviously under the anointing and I dont think she needed to be cut off. That's the problem now , we miss God trying to do all these services for him, but when he steps in we escort him out. We need to be ready to go with the flow , its not about who can be on the mic , but that the anointing is falling on who God wants to use. Pray mother Boone !!!!
