From what I got to see in Turkiye (At least in the 2 major cities I visited) they are not really "strays" like in most other countries. I mean they are not abandoned completely, the neighbors take care of their needs, they feed them, take them to the vet, the vets take care of them even though they are strays like this young man is doing. They are more like "communal" cats, they do not have a fixed home, yet they are taken care of.
