These parents treat one child like royalty and the other like scum, and then face the consequences later on in life when the pampered child drags them down. And yet for some reason the parent doesn't know why the child turned out like that... It's like they have no self-awareness.
Monica and Missy mother is not very good parent for treating Missy like princess but not Monica I don’t understand why their mother treating Monica unloving, caring and hating her all she want is love? She supposed to love her two daughters equally not just one daughter Missy and that’s what happens when their mother got bad Karma for treating Monica like that with her kidney is failing but Monica has a wonderful heart to save her mother but not Missy she doesn’t even care about her mother anymore only on herself. I read that favoritism isn't truly love for the favored or unfavored. There are times favored people can get to the top, but their emotional intelligence is very low, and they don't really have a relationship with their unfavored sibling. Also, the unfavored sibling may resent their favored sibling that they displace their resentment on them instead of the unloving parent. The unfavored tend to grow more resilient, independent, and even cold-hearted that they are worse off until they decide to help themselves with therapy. Missy was terrible and she doesn’t want to be successful and she just wanted to party. Monica is a great person and she has been successful and found her dreams to prove herself and be better than anyone.
But then again this isn’t entirely missy’s fault. The reason she acted like this is mostly bcuz of the mom. The reason Monica became Succesful is bcuz she tolerated that abuse and found a way to be a great person.
Yeah true and she’ll probably be stuck in the same position her mother was in with the kidney problems if she continues to drink and party all the time. That can happen, your age always catches up with you overtime.
Rewind: Your children are a gift from God. So always treat them with the same respect. So that they can love till the end of time. Monica's mom got recovered from her surgery thanks to her daughter, and they lived happily ever after..........that was, until the tragedy of selfish Missy, who unfortunately passed away from a car accident while driving drunk. Monica's mom blamed herself for making her daughter a corrupted individuel. But atleast she got her other daughter who will always love her and treat her like she is a child again. Missy could've been in her sister's shoes......if she and her mom.....did better life choices. (Second timeline): The mom treated her daughters equally and the sisters loved each other, they graduated from college and Missy becomes a doctor from having a diploma from her university and helps her mother for her health problems, while Monica works as a lawyer in case if someone tries to frame her mom from false accusations. And they lived happily ever after. The End. 😊
And after missy's death she woke up in the after life and met god for the first time but due to her sinful behavior during her life on earth by drinking and partying all the time, plus treating her mother like garbage along with refusing to donate her kidney to her while she was sick she was sent to hell where everyday she'll end up being tortured by satan and his minions for eternity.
Mom was real lucky that Monica chose to not be bitter and forgave her. Meanwhile her "Princess" Missy could care less about anything but herself. Never ever choose favoritism over your children.

The most important thing parents have to understand is that love your children equally and not play favorites from one child. The mom understands that she was awful and treated her daughter Monica badly.
I certainly can't comprehend how parents can spoil and entitled one child and treat the other like trash, claim to love one child and hate the other. That's not love in either direction, and parents like that really and truly have no true love in their hearts. They need to throw Missy out of the house and not give her a cent, no matter how much she begs and pleads.
In their childhood, Monica was treated badly and Missy was treated good. And now in their adulthood, Monica received scholarship and begin college and as for Missy she never get a job and become spoiled.

You should not be playing favorites. when it comes to kids. Otherwise, that one kid would feel like they're undervalued. We're under appreciated. If you treat one kid, with high esteem than the other. the one that you treat. will turn out to be bossy demanding It's harder for the kid. that is left out to have a good relationship with their parents. It's like an owner has a favorite animal, that he or she likes. when it comes to me. I accused my dog over my two other animals. I have three fur babies. Two cats and one dog. And I treat the dog Better than my two cats. My dog gets all the goods. All the attention. All the cats get is their basic necessities. Food, water and vet care. But my dog gets anything. His heart desires. because he is a prince. He eats what he wants. He gets whatever he wants for Christmas. I give the cat a little something for Christmas. But my dog gets all. the attention and all the care. even though he's the youngest of my fur babies. The reason I favor him. because he's a dog. because he has more. qualities that I look for. Like obedience and loyalty. My two sons at our cats. They got one thing. that makes them stand out. It's their willingness to give affection. But when it comes to obedience, my two sons, My two cats. aren't obedient. But my dog is obedient. This is what happens. when you alienate an animal or a kid. otherwise, they will feel left out. You never want to treat a kid better than the other kid. You don't want to treat less than you had to treat them equally on the same playing field That's what a parent should do. They do treat their kids with respect and high regard. If you treat one kid better than the other gets what happens. The kid that you treat better will get spoiled. and become brady and entitled. That's why I believe Treat your kids equally. if one of them does wrong. you have to discipline them. If the other kid does something wrong, you have to discipline them. If a kid accomplished something and they made it. then you reward them. If your other kid, accomplish something. or they did something to get ahead. Then you congratulate them. You had to do it with both kids. Otherwise. one of them will feel unloved. They need to be loved and disciplined the same. If you do one thing for a kid and you don't do it to the other, then it turns out ugly.

Always treat people with respect. See how the daughter the one that the mom treated like a princess doesn’t even want to be with the mother. The one that she doesn’t treat right all of thoses years is now helping the mom. I wouldn’t even think about helping her. After the way she treated the daughter all thoses years . The daughter forgive her. If it was me I wouldn’t have . What goes around comes. Now that mom needed the daughter that she mistreated.
After that, Monica's mom recovered thanks to her kidney and their relationship is growing stronger. She even had her mom move in and introduced her to her grandchildren. Missy on the other hand was caught driving while under the Influence and in the middle of her intoxication, she struck a little kid and her mom. The mother survived but was paralyzed, the little girl did not survive. She was sentenced to 10 years in prison with no chance of Parole. Before her sentence she called her mother to come and Bail her out, but she refused, seeing prison as a chance for missy to change her ways, but she did not and was forced to serve more time after assaulting another prisoner. (This is what I feel would happen afterwards)
As much as Vid Chron Ultra wants to have a happy reconciliation ending between Monica and her mother, I'm willing to bet a neglected child would likely distance themselves from that abusive parent and wouldn't really be that forgiving.
