Mother Dog Elated After Reunited With Her Puppies 

Letting wolves into the caves with us was the smartest thing we've ever done.

Message to puppy that died: Yes. Your mom loved you and never stopped searching for you.

The saddest part was her leaning against the wall at the beginning. Probably feeling all scared and lonely. My heart hurts. Edit: Some of you need to stfu in the comments.

At first you think she's scared, then you find out she's heartbroken. Animals have emotions every bit as real and important as ours.

First sniff at one of her pups, and she wagged her tail so fast. This is beautiful.

From scared and in a corner to "Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you thank you" in under a minute.

A so-called friend of mine called himself a vet tech and knew when a mother dog was going to abandon her pups. He told his lady friend to pull one pup and start becoming its mother. While momma dog was locked up downstairs in the cold basement. After trusting his judgement for twenty four hours, I decided to have the gal put the dog back. Momma was super elated and was not the mean dog he painted her to be. I recall getting her a cheap cardboard box to fully stretch out in to feed her pups , the look she gave me was a huge thank you. I wish I recorded it to prove it to his dumb butt. Then I had to buy a kiddie pool to keep them contained, and she was even happier once she could leave for a break, and they couldn’t jump out. Those looks from her are seared into my soul.

Oh, one of the puppies died?-No wonder that she was looking for one more.

That mama dog deserves to live in a good home with all of her pups...

She was in motion the moment she heard the first squeak. That's the love of a mother.

That motherly instinct is strong. She was afraid, but as soon as she heard the first baby cry, she immediately responded. Love dogs.

and who said dogs cant count. Poor puppy that died, she was looking for it.

She was so heartbroken over there in the corner. Then she's hopeful hearing her baby cry. She couldn't wait one more second for the pups to be presented to her so she went in to see for herself. She was thrilled and thankful for her 4 babies back, but she was clearly asking for her other pup. She realized she was missing the one, recognized that this lady brought the rest but not that ONE. She misses and wants her last baby. What an amazing and smart little mommy. I'm glad she will have the comfort of the other 4 while she mourns her loss.

They are cuties. Her tail was just wagging. She is looking for another baby. So sad and happy at the same time.

Look how she practically crawled into her lap, like ' ok you gave me back my babies. I like and trust you now. You're obviously not a bad person. '

From hiding in the corner, to hyper tail wagging happiness. We need more happiness like this on the news

I Love the reaction from the dog when she finally realizes that she's in a good place and her babies are safe.

That was beautiful. As soon as she heard that baby's cry, she was so happy. And she definitely thanked the lady for reuniting her with her children.

Dogs truly are such beautiful animals and were lucky to have them. They are kinda like humans if you took out all the bad stuff

The display of her behaviour before is so apparent. As soon as she sees her babies are safe and that these people helped her, she quickly becomes affectionate and trusts them. It's so sweet ^^

I witnessed something in 2008, my friend's dog had 13 puppies, one was hit by a car and mama dog was out of sight. Couldn't see it. Little pup died instantly, but mama dog felt it happen. I was situated where I could see both animals. She responded very harshly. Broke her heart and mine too.

She can't contain her happiness. And yet there are those that will say "only human beings have a soul".

This is so sweet, but it also breaks my heart. Dogs clearly love their babies. It makes me so sad that they don't get to live with their babies. Their babies are always adopted out after a few weeks. It must be heartbreaking for them when their babies are taken away.

I actually think she's sniffing the box hoping that the 5th puppy was there - She's happy and obviously relieved & esctatic to see her pups but look how she keeps looking & sniffing... From the sound of it there was a 5th but it died So she's looking for the other. See how she is sniffing to see if there's any sign or scent of another one. Such is a mother’s love for her children and what do breeders do over breed for greed and puppies end up in shelters

Apparently the mama dog was rescued from an abusive home. Some of the people at this shelter went to the owners house and talked the owner into giving up the mama's puppies. This was their reunion. I can't belive how cruel people can be to such loving and loyal animals.

The mother is just as cute as her pups. I love how her little ears perked up when she heard her baby's whimper. ❤❤

Is there ANYTHING better in life than a dog's wagging tail???

WOW, this is seriously amazing! That Mamma was very scared in the shelter all alone until her pups showed up and now she is comfortable and confident that everything is going to be okay! God made these dogs to love, trust, forgive, not hate, hold no grudges, and so on... That's how us humans were supposed to be! (What happened?) Please people, if you can't give a dog a happy, loving home for at least 12 to 18 years, and lots of vet bills during that period, then don't get one!

Man who tf could dislike this? What kind of person do you have to be to not enjoy seeing such happiness manifested in the furry individuals that were so joyfully reunited under the gaze of the amazing ladies and gentlemen who work at this establishment?
