I feel in the early game could have the people from the Onett hideout help as party members to balance out the early game a bit. Could possibly have Everdred as a party member through Peaceful Rest Valley and Happy Happy Village.
@@thefrubblewarrior4678 Everdred was never supposed to be a party member, he had a ghost sprite that was going to be used when he supposedly was going to die in Fourside. He doesn’t even have ghost sprites for the side or the back either
I absolutely love pippi’s character development in this remake First of all: pippi has an entire battle now Second: pippi’s dialogue sounds more childish instead of adult representing that pippi is still a child Lastly: pippi shows a lot more emotion now, especially in her dialogue. I just can’t wait until the full release to see the differences within all the characters you meet.
Found this game through your video, immediately downloaded the demo and had a blast. The visual style and new additions make this version of MOTHER feel like wholly new experience. I hope the devs keep plugging away at it and create a complete remake cuz I'd love to sink my teeth into more.
I loved that *W A L L Y* was a regular enemy in the first game, now he's a boss. Also, I want to hope they post the remix sometime. Edit: They posted the full soundtrack on their channel
Gotta admit. This looks very impressive. This looks like a proper genuine remake.This looks very promising. .........THIS LOOKS LIKE IT'S GONNA GET CEASE AND DESISTED BY NINTENDO. :(
God i'm really tired of having to explain this, But no, Mother fangames don't get C&D's from nintendo. Nintendo has very specific things they go after as mentioned by the hosts of the largest mario fangames website (which nintendo KNOWS about by the way.). Nintendo only goes after things that are actually illegal, fan-made remakes of already existing games, or projects that happen to be extremely similar to what they are currently making. No, Nintendo does not go after pokemon stuff, Gamefreak does, because they are unfortunately Gamefreak. The Mother series is mostly owned by its creator still: Itoi, and Itoi has encouraged the creation of fangames and even encouraged fans to try to make a mother 4. Even if nintendo suddenly wanted to, they legally cannot touch a fangame unless Itoi wants that fangame down himself. Please stop spreading doom and gloom anytime a fangame of a nintendo franchise exists, unless it ticks a specific box, or is pokemon, it won't get a C&D. And if you wonder about the previous mother 4 - now - oddity, they never got a C&D, they changed their game from their own decision to most likely make money off of it one day... if it even still actually exists that is.
only thing i wish is that when some serious events happen, the backgrounds werent in bright colors which kills the mood, like the intro stage. other than that, i wish the best for the development and love the smooth transition and victory animations
Seeing that people are going here just to see how to beat the bosses or what it looks like, I'm just gonna put some tips down here just to help. [Warning: Some major spoilers. You should play the game before seeing this.] 1: Lamp, Pillow and Doll Does this not seem very obvious enough? Simply just punch until you win. You can't loose unless you keep defending over and over. 2: Pippi The first real boss in the entire demo, before fight, burgers or sports drinks are recommended, and antidote. So get ready to shove them into your mouth when nearing a death experience. Pippi can poison you with her fangs, all tho poison can make your HP roll faster, doesn't mean that you can just ignore it. (Optional: You can use Offense Up a 3 times to increase your attack by 9. If pippi makes your offense go down, simply use offense up a again. [side note: if you are out of pp, best of luck to you.) Not much is said else, just attack Pippi, shove burgers down your throat and you should be good to go. 3: Wally Make sure you grind EXP and Money before you fight Wally, as he can pitchfork you to absolute death, he has an attack that hits both party members so Sports drinks will be a absolutely needed item. All tho he may look hard, if you get sports drinks and continousally use Offense Up a on yourself 3 times, he should be very easy to kill. (Just don't forget to regenerate your stats at Nintens house before fighting.) 4: Starman Jr. I only played the older versions when Starman Jr was only able to attack, but I hadn't fought him in the newer version yet, so take my advice with a grain of salt. Starman Jr, unlike any of the other bosses is the only one to know PK moves, aka PK Beam a. Once again, bring Sports drinks as they heal 70 and are useful if you get mortal damage, or are nearing low HP. Offense Up might be helpful once again, or Defense Up if I'm wrong. I'm pretty sure Pippi is around Ninten's age. She doesn't look like a high school teenager in the over world sprite. She might be Preteen or early teens like Ness.
Itoi still owns the rights to the mother series and has encouraged fan creations, meaning that nintendo can't touch this unless Itoi wants to take it down
