Love that Debra wasn't offended and was such a great sport about one of the funniest running gags on the show, it was my favorite thing about her and Grace.

Why would an actress be offended? She's playing a role with physical comedy and jokes about body obsession. It's so tiresome that society is on a hair trigger to feel offended by this or that. Now it seems we marvel when someone ISN'T offended.

@@jonwiley2592 This actress in particular happened to have small breasts IRL and was ok and a pro about writers making fun of that specific body feature, the jokes weren't about "body obsession". She was one of the stars of a hit show and she could've easily asked them to take it down a notch on the small boob jokes, but played along and made the show better as a result. I'm referring to a specific situation, and you made it about whatever society feels about this or that, maybe you should calm your t*ts about it.

Debra said in an interview that she was always happy with her body as an adult. To this end, she never found the breast jokes offensive. This is such an awesome show with an ensemble cast, great writing, direction, and production.

Early Karen was smarter and more observant than people gave her credit for. Later in the series she became very cartoonish. Still, one of the funniest characters ever on tv. Right up there with the Golden Girls.

That was the pilot episode and at that time, she & Sean Hayes weren't supposed to have as big of parts as they did. They were basically just extras but everyone loved their characters & the two of them had super amazing chemistry goofing off behind the scenes! Because of this, they were written into the show more!

I had to, especially on RU-vid and cable. Unfortunately, my entire CD & DVD collections have been stolen while I was in the hospital. Favorites like this, Three's Company, Absolutely Fabulous, The Nanny, Hot In Cleveland, and Happily Divorced are gone. Having these available on my phone is cool for doctor visits while waiting.

I loved this show, as a straight teenager watching it I never thought about the characters as their sexuality. Gay straight never even crossed my mind. The comedy always made me laugh. Karen Walker character was extremely sexy to me though lol
