Yes it is. When I found my window cleaner he asked how I'd found him.. I told him it was through Checkatrade and he replied 'good that it's paying itself off as it cost me £1000 to be with them'.

@@OliverGBarker What if they were to dump waste on you driveway then? Savvy pro trade people pass the cost of waste material disposal onto the customers and not risk £ks in fly tipping fines. What they do in the video is ignorance and they got caught. They were lucky she didn't involve the police.

dont get it sometimes. do gardening cash but never fly tip... some clients want the grass clippings for mulch but most goes to tip. client is billed accordingly
Too true. A few years ago I was invited to join the Guild of Master Woodturners after I took out a subscription to a woodturning magazine. I was rubbish at it so gave up. These 'bodies' take any Body. Needless to say I didn't join the 'Guild'.
I work for a council, Have to deal with fly tipping on a daily basis. We know who does it but if you create work for the supervisor you get a sanction so it's easier to just allow it, Been this way for the last 9 years. Even the local needle exchange service dumps used syringes in the town centre.
@@SEAWEEDER1 I used to work for my local council clearing flytippers rubbish. When we caught them (and it was always the same people) we would report them , most of them had no road tax. But the council did nothing, they would carry on flytipping.
I get their leaflets through my door about 4 times a year. First thing I do is rip them up and bin them. The problem here is that there are a few really good work companies on it.

It's recently acknowledge the local authorities are not enforcing or prosecuting these scumbags so in effect are complicit yet are council taxes increase for an ever decreasing standard of service all stinks💩

On this occasion after being caught and still offending her intellegnce with some utter bull story, yes they did. My comment was more for fly tippers in general. This, admittedly, was incredibly mild. It can be as bad as it was around M25 between junction 28 and 30 a while ago there was fly tipping on a commercial scale. 50-100 lorry loads dumped over a week or 2 and then sat there for 5 or 6 months whilst it was decided who should pay. Its such a thoughtless, selfish, ignorant crime. As I previously said, it's unreasonable, and I'm aware it's unreasonable, the extent of distain I have for fly tippers.

I live in beautiful rural North dorset & you often see exactly this scenario , a pile of assorted rubble dumped in a layby or blocking a farm gate down a country road . Add to that the discarded litter from motorists that infects literally everywhere & your respect for your fellow species members begins to tank

I work in the trades and I would never ever do this. It really upsets me that some tradesmen seem to think it's reasonable behaviour. Thank god for people like this lady👍

I would of thought he needed license with him for the tip if he is doing it professionaly, might be wrong but seems strange, like the answer for no tarp,only thing he apparently left at the tip !!!

He/they by law need to have a waste carriers license and tip at a trade /commercial waste site , he would know all the ins and outs of legal and illegal tipping and know exactly what procedures the sites require. The lady didn’t really need to say anything ...just stand there and take a photo , the fact she can identify him by his truck and name on it would make him clear the junk up! Everything thing coming out of his mouth is in an attempt to stop himself being reported as he had technically been caught fly tipping whether he shoved it back in the truck or not and could still be prosecuted. It’s a hefty fine for fly tipping and he would most likely get his day in court as a company for further prosecution. Mind you anyone can get a vinyl sign printed with a company name on and they don’t seem to be on check a trade anymore but do have a Facebook page...the last post on it being around the time of this video strangely enough! 😉 I don’t carry waste for a living but do have a waste carriers license anyway to cover my own waste and just in case a client wants to pay for tipping their old items (I am freelance furniture courier) , you can get stopped at anytime by one of the government agencies and if they decide you are carrying what they deem as “commercial/trade waste “ without a license it’s a hefty fine whether you are doing it as a professional service or not. My license is the lowest tier and costs £150 for 3 years so not that much money for saving being prosecuted! I have found if you pay cash at certain trade waste sites and don’t need a receipt they don’t record your details or want to see your waste carriers license, this obviously leaves the gate open for dodgy operators who can’t always find somewhere to fly tip! 🙃

Well around here there are transfer stations where you can get rid of most waste. Even most types of common hazardous waste. Special handling is required for those but they are accepted. Unless you live Somewhere rural I don't understand how there can't be proper ways to get rid of rubbish in your area. Businesses have waste. People want to renovate things. Where do you live? New York city?
@@savingthefarm7698 I live in scotland, u have to book your van in days in advance. They change the rules all the time. There might be a fee to get rid of stuff not from your own home. Ive heard of them turning people away so many times. They make it really hard. It doesnt surprise me atall that people flytip and i blame the council for turning people away.

I don't think it takes guts to confront someone damaging property and risking your animals lives. It would take me strength to hold myself back from hurting him. I had a horse seriously injured from someone fly tipping in my field. There was a lot of 6 inch screw in the rubble. One went though my horses hoof and into the bone.
