The Buckingham fountain is so beautiful!!!⛲️ Back then where the Buckingham fountain is used to be all grass area where people would lay on the lawn near the fountain. Rarely people would get in water. But all that has changed when they changed the landscape by adding a walk area and fencing off the perimeter of the fountain. I am glad the city did that. The Buckingham fountain is still in it's original beauty.⛲️ l tell you Gemini, you are capturing some of the most beautiful sceneries Chicago. Some of the sights you will see is some of the famous Chicago landmarks of the Chicago's World Fair such as the Buckingham fountain, the Solders Memorial, the Science Museum, and some of the tall sky scrapers along Michigan Avenue. The white stone buildings such as the Art Institute of Chicago, the Chicago Tribune building and the other white stone buildings that are along the magnificent mile of Michigan Avenue where built for the second Chicago World Fair. The classic steps and the street lights around the Millennium Park were designed during the second Chicago's World Fair of the late 19th and early 20th Century. I wish l could meet you and show you and tell you all about the history of Chicago skyscrapers of landmark buildigs. I would show all the buildings l once worked in in the advertising department such as the kite building the Merchandise Mart and a few other tall buildings. Wow, if only l can show you. Gemini, my friends l used to go boat riding and kayaking along the river back in the day. We act like the tourists but we lived there! What such good memories!!! l still love the Chicago.
