Often times tearout can be a combination of things instead of just the blade. Fence alignment, arbor runout and the table insert can all play a part along with the blade itself.
Usually max depth for pockets is between: 0.02-0.05” Vcarve max depth: stock bottom Feed rate: 80 Plunge rate: 90 (Typically but please feel free to play with these numbers)
