MOTHER'S DAY SPECIAL: Evangelist Beverly Broadus Green's (Snoop Dogg's Mom's) 70th Birthday Party 

This video was such a blessing to my spirit. I wish I had known Evangelist Beverly Broadus Green, before she died, because you can tell her words were words of wisdom, but even in these videos she's left behind you can still learn something. I truly love her, for what she did, for what she was trying to do, to make the world a better place, and to help us. Women in the pulpit. When a woman takes on that title, for one thing she is courageous. As a woman, seems like I learn better from a woman preacher, than a man preacher. Because she preaches from her heart, and experience, and the Word of God, and I guess I feel on the same level, and can relate better to her message. Some years ago, you could find a woman downtown, on the street corner, preaching. They were taking it, out of the church, and into the streets where it's needed. Truth be told that may be the only way our young generation will hear the Word. When God is not talked about, in the homes, and they don't go to church, they don't know God, and I'm sure praying for all our young folks to get on board, and believe in God. No one ever made those women stop their preaching, in fact most folks passing by her seemed pleased, and thankful someone was putting positive words, in the airwaves, to help better the world. One particular woman preaching on the corner, her words have stayed with me, and I'll always remember her for that. She just kept saying loudly, with conviction, Get Your House In Order. That is what caught my attention to what she was saying. Because at that time my life was a mess, but was seeking answers, to get out that mess. She said other words, but she repeatedly stressed get your house, in order, and I knew that was the point she was making. So I did go home and worked on getting my house, in order. Not just the physical home, but my prayer life, and Bible reading, and I began seeing improvements. When your life is a mess it's like the Israelites were, wandering 40years, going in circles, because God is not going to bless you, until you've learned those lessons you were suppose to. Now, I feel more like I'm on a journey, and not going in circles. Even though you may hit a bump in the road, sometimes, I wouldn't turn back, for nothing. Because I know now what to do during those bumps, just take God with you, and He will pull you through. Bumps are only a life lesson experience God is teaching you. You'll also find, when you come through that it really wasn't as hard as you had thought, at the beginning. Everything new to you, seems hard at the beginning, but you just aim for the finish line, taking God with you. God is victorious, all the time. You sure spoke truth. Those fortunate to have been around her sure were blessed, but I also know a wonderful woman like this will be missed. This is my first day of even knowing about her, when I viewed her 70th birthday video, then finding she had passed. Just in this one day I've watched about 4videos with her speaking on them, and I just love her more, and more. Not only would she speak like a preacher, but like a mother, or sister would speak to you. I, too miss her, and wish she had spent more time, on earth, with us, but God knows exactly when to pick His flowers. And as you said may we all live an exemplary life like this, so God will no longer see us as a speck of dust, but a beautiful flower He wants to pick for His garden. Because that is all He is taking. God is looking for that sparkle, in your spirit.

She’s late.

Actually, there were plenty of people with masks. The majority of the event was outside, most people have been vaccinated--including me--and they took people's temperatures. So, fret not, we were just fine.
