The commenter below (@user-oe5ey3ex8b) nailed it: "The kids lost their scumbag stepdad lawyer who was sleeping with their mom while representing her in their parents divorce. They also lost their cheating mother who was trying to remove their dad from their lives. The only real loss for the kids is the loss of their grandfather who had the courage enough to take justice for his son. The kids were with the wifes family but are now home with dad so they'll be fine. "

She was married to two attorneys and the father who killed them was also an attorney? And the new husband's coworker is his ex-wife's attorney? That's a lot of attorneys really close in relation.
@@w8tingonu custody should be 50-50 by default and can only change with proof of an issue or by agreement. Asking for 100% custody should be a red flag. Orders should be followed or punishment should follow. Proven false allegations should result in reduction or loss of custody
@@kacornish1 Empathy has limits. It’s the same reason you don’t always give money to homeless people walking down the street begging. It’s the same reason you would help your friend or family member if they lost their job but if they moved in after a few weeks, you would get tired of them … It’s just reality. Empathy has limits. It’s very very sad that these people died. There’s no question about that. However, it is also very sad that people who cheat on each other, infidelity, divorce, whatever or go digging money, stealing divorces… When those happen, a lot of those are optional choices. When people are cruel to each other, we should not be surprised when other people return with cruelty.
So what he was drinking? The ex was stressing him...what has this got to do with him being a father or having his fair share of custody? Play dirty, well, there you go!!!
Lived in US for 25 years, I've come to learn not to ever trust the authorities. How many women reported their ex, cops or the judge wont do sh't until they are dead. My personal experience, my dad's neighbor was getting more aggrieve over the months my parents moved into their new house for no reason. Chinese culture, when we first move in, we introduce ourselves to our neighbors and bringing them food. While filing the report, the cop told me "sorry there's nothing we can do." I said: " The neighbor is getting more aggressive, started getting violent, what if next time he gets a gun?" Cop said: " Then we will come out and investigate the body." I couldn't believe my ears, got up & told him: " I am going to buy my parents a gun now, next time you come out, you will be investing his body." Suddenly, the stupid cop being so helpful, taught me how to record everything so I can present the evidence in court.
When I took college courses part of the curriculum was a primer on the law. As part of an exercise in a hypothetical case, we had to take the same set of facts defend the case and prosecute the case. That the legal system has a provision for crimes of passion is a fascinating concept within itself. It speaks to the core of human emotions. And it goes without saying, they should have had legal representation with no ties to the case, even then, it wouldn't guarantee a peaceful outcome. These cases are highly volatile and tragic for all involved.😢
BRIFFAULT’S LAW: The female, not the male, determines all the conditions of the animal family. Where the female can derive no benefit from association with the male, no such association takes place. There are a few corollaries I would add: 1. Past benefit provided by the male does not provide for continued or future association. 2. Any agreement where the male provides a current benefit in return for a promise of future association is null and void as soon as the male has provided the benefit (see corollary 1). 3. A promise of future benefit has limited influence on current/future association, with the influence inversely proportionate to the length of time until the benefit will be given and directly proportionate to the degree to which the female trusts the male.
The court system is not to be blamed for a selfish old who murdered two people because he lacks self control 🙄 if he cares about his grandkids, he wouldn’t have left them without a mother for life. His actions were inexcusable and has nothing to do with the courts. Ppl commit murder everyday & there is no excuse for what this sicko did smh
The courts do favor the mother. Many years ago, my x wife went to prison for 5 years. A woman judge refused to grant me full custody even though she was in prison.
@@cocofluffonly because it was an emergency situation. If he’s proven innocent, he will get the child. As long as he cleans up his act with any addiction, he will get the children.
@@jacquelinelubrani3905 I hope he never does. Only supervised visitation and nothing more. We need to stop this nonsense of reuniting children with horrible parents. Children are dying because of that policy. Some children are better off without their parents.
The Houston lawyer had terminal cancer, he must of been really depressed & mentally unstable & shouldn’t have been working. Also, I don’t think the judge should have allowed close family members to act as their lawyers.
Maybe the lady's new husband and Attorney should not have inflamed the issue and hired someone to follow him and tried to make him look bad. That was a really bad move by whoever did that.
Family courts abuse of fathers needs to end. Women delight in ruining a man and taking his children...and some men just cant handle it. Men deserve equal rights in family court.
Men are waking up and realizing that entering into a contract where the other side is rewarded for breaking that contract is a bad idea. They are seeing other men cheated by a corrupt family court system causing them to lose their money, kids, home, pretty much everything and then being forced into indentured servitude.
Everyone should remember that depositions are recorded, so the cops have the video of the whole thing. Also remember that children lost their mother and may read your comments one day. Try to be civilized and not project your experience onto this. Every case is different and definitely not the same as yours.
That’s a big ask to expect people nowadays, especially Las Vegans, to act civilized. Not surprised that the psychos that inhabit this town are writing these vile comments.
None of the details that so many people have time to follow change the fact that all 3 Parents involved should have involved someone with a moral compass into the negotiations and pinned them to those, by law - the responsibilities of parenthood..."choose love"...
And yet with all this known information nothing was done . You know I really have no empathy for this situation cause I will say this I don't like lawyers in general . Overpaid live off other people's miseries. One thing I do know and hope for that the children are freed from the hell of these spliced Brady bunch families and find their freedom and not be a hostage to two people who go to court to end something that never should have started in the first place.
Dang, this woman made her ex so mad that her ex's father killed her AND her new husband WOW. I wonder what this woman did. Men like to be respected she must have gone off the rails with the disrespect!
great, now the children have NO PARENTS...wtheck🤦 *this like having an abortion & the child is 6 yrs old, its idiotic & makes no sense, just as what this guy has done the motive is neither here nor there, its the actions by all involved except those that mattered, the Children... NOW WHAT ??? *I pray these children receive counseling & that they know no matter how old they get that no matter what happoens in their lives that the option of consulting will always be their for them when & if they need help... 🙏 My Condolences 😢 to the children, you 2 did nothing. its not your fault, just made to be the scapegoats of this...

@@Joe-qm4yv nope. sad. I understand what your saying... but they have lost him by the actions of the grandfather & the father's texts & not being @ court...
It took me a while to figure out who was who. I'm wondering was the exhusband not in the office because of the restraining order? And did the Houston family know that the grandfather was going to become a murder? Can you imagine how the grandmother must have felt when her husband fired those shots? Is this a drinking, fighting family behind closed doors? I mean, the tie here is Ashley . No matter what thought process, or anger the Houston family had, how could grandpa not realize that the the hell his actions would cause to these children!?😊
Having "lots of guns" is irrelevant. More law-abiding citizens than criminals have has no problems involving a "firearm"....... Otherwise, you will have to say "ban all cars, trucks and motorcycles" because of Drunk driving accidents.
@jeffcombs2950 i will make this as plainly simple for you to understand. They already have the weapon in custody for which the crime was committed. Was his "other guns" assaulting other people in another location? Guns do not kill people. People kill people. Doesn't matter what they use to murder somebody with, they will use any means necessary if that is their intention.
@RedWaveGraphics It'll be tragic because if the emails and story about his drinking remotely true, he has issues he needs to fix before he gets custody
@@mariaromualdezabellar6842 - His drinking could be from stress and having to deal with his ex. I've seen many men over the years having to deal with this type of drama only to be treated like second class citizens by the court. Let’s go back to the beginning, and talk about that warm spot that causes all of this murder and mayhem. I fear the clatch has been weaponized to our disadvantage. There’s no way to fight that sweet little thang.

I made that mistake yesterday. The exhusband , who was not in the office, is the one who has the drinking problem. His father is the killer. We have no clue if that man also drank.

Women have all the power in these custody battles... this is really the only way a man can be heard at these hearings. I just hope he gets to be a father to his kids again.
He won’t . The courts will be sure to prove that the ex-husband was aware of events prior. The attorney killed was revered in that state. He won’t see the kids.
It's not that standard anymore. Pretty much every father I know has won custody of their children, well, at least in Kern County, Ca. Also, without a doubt, the son knew his dad was going to do it. That is why he didn't show up so that he could act like he had no clue and would get the kids. There's no man that should want death to the mom of there kids no matter how bad it gets.
smoke rolling out the barrel after the piercing crack of his 2ND Amendment. Bodies strewn upon the executive carpeting. Blood spurting from entrance and exit wounds. Sun gently rising in the sky.
Thankfully we have the 2nd ammendment. Helps protect from tyrannical government...look at Australia and England. Forced jabs, captured government.....you don't appreciate it until you won't have it.
Family court issues will continue to ruin lives, sometimes a decade goes by, meanwhile families can never get that time back and it destroys lives. The only way to fix issues is to take away family court judges use of discretion to justify doing anything they feel like. Most times without any legal reason and insult to injury parents are treated like they are in criminal court. Need to change to panels as higher courts do. It's a tragic situation and I when are nevada courts especially Clark County judges going to be held responsible for most of this.

Wonder if the ex knew his father was going to murder them - then the ex gets the kids. I hope the mom's estate sues bc this is too coincidental. Looks like the father and son planned this and the son obviously knew in advance. POS!!!

Metal detectors and law enforcement needs to be present. This was beyond toxic and bound to happen with treats made. Regardless of the dynamic with victim and her attorney actually being married and representing her, ex father in law had no right to take their life. If his son actually was a "victim" he had a hard time proving it when he sent threats. All Christians, we got to witness to people to give their lives to Jesus. The demons aren't stopping to destroy families daily, unless we organize and reach out to those who are hurting, we will be held accountable for these losses. Get out of your comfort zones and speak love and hope to people who have lost hope! My condolences to the family. To the others who are reading: Hello Friend, why get to know the Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit is our comforter, counselor, coach, cheerleader, and confidant. He will help you with ALL your problems or conditions, but he's a gentleman and won't force himself into your life. Curious? Get to know him by asking Jesus to come into your heart and apologize for all your sins. Jesus will send you the Holy Spirit to be a part of your life. It truly is that easy.

Wow do you know these people personally? If not then you are making assumptions about all of these people based on what the news outlets have told you. 1) the step dad did not represent her in her divorce, this was a custody case. 2) while the timeline was close, they were married when she had the last 2 kids. 3) whilst we don't know when the exhusband started drinking, was this brought on by Ashley or was this his problem. 4) by the sound of the email and the time it was sent, sounds as if he may have had anger issues. Also, the concerns regarding having security, was that just for show or real fear. 5) do we know if the exhusband was a good father before the divorce and has he maintained close connections with his kids. 6) what grandpa did was horrific. He let his emotions take over and now deprived these children of living a happy normal life. They will be in therapy for the rest of their lives. He was no hero.
