Tally is definitely one of my favorites characters. She always want to do the right thing and I love that about her. I hope also that Scylla can explain Raelle about everything, she deserves an explication! This show is amazing

This episode was such a brilliant game changer!! All girls had a huge growth (including Anacostia) and had their eyes opened to who Alder really is. Abigail has had such a tough character growth and I’ve love how she’s changed in the past 2 episodes. Can’t believe there’s only 2 more episodes!!

Ah, I cried a lot at this..when Abigail waking up Libba that hit hard. Just when they start to treat each other well. Tally is so precious but here she's so guilty knowing the whole truth and that Gen. Alder lied about the innocent lives loss. And all I just want is that Scylla could prove and explain to Raelle the whole truth and above all her real love for her.

She did nothing, the sound wasn’t strong enough, and now Libba is dead because of it. Yea Adler gave the order but Tally let her sisters down and Libba is dead because of it.

These witches proved they were ready for combat. But Alder needlessly sacrificed civilians that could have been safe. Tally knew civilians were inside and Alder left them to die anyway

I say both of them. No one has a cut and clean state in this war. Not even the humans. I think the girls and the remaining witches should revolt against Alder. Against the Spree and against the humans who are evil. I have a feeling Abigails mother will be the new Gen. Especially if we get a S2

I feel like this moment shows that witches and their powers can't be used for everything. The truck could have been disable to save civilian lives but because of what witches do they either couldn't or didn't do that. It also showed that Adler didn't think before she acted. I knew the spree were leaving a trap. If I had an operative that happened to disappear and had information on where our armory was. I would be moving everything and leave a little surprise for the military.

If they disable the truck the spree would have active the mines they obviusly gave the life for their cause, like kamikaze or something.

@@aleq.m.5339 your right they might have done that and we would have seen how the spree are in fact a ruthless terrorist group. But we didn't, we saw Adler take one action and chose to sacrifice civilian life. Whenever there is a situation with hostage's you always try to find a way to save lives. If Adler was so right in the decision she made then why lie about it.

Yes.. I agree, and the worst part was that these are cadets. If Alder knew what she was doing she should of had stations all over the country with trained experienced soldiers.

@@aleq.m.5339 I get the whole lesser evil concept. But I think we will see history repeat its self and we will come to find that the civilians are the true enemy. If they were not so hateful of witches and executing them in the first place we wouldn't be seeing all this. Fear and intolerance has always existed creating prejudice and hate along the way with people committing horrible acts because of it. Don't get me wrong I don't want any civilians or witches dying. If you really think about it in the end it will be civilians vs witches. The witches wouldn't have to fight their battles, the Spree wouldn't be faced with wanting the freedom of their fellow witches and the witches shouldn't have to kill one another. I am telling you the Civilians are behind the witch killings.. Spree or military we'll see that the bigger evil is prejudice and intolerance coming from the civilians.

After watching Episode 2x7, I realize what it would take 12+ regular witches to accomplish at high risk.... was an easy task for ONE Tarim witch, if only they weren't pacifists.

I guess I'm the only Alder loyalist here. Tally was nothing short of weak in this situation it was a sorry display and in all likelihood what caused her friend to die. At the end of the day the bomb was a threat and would have seen a lot more people dead. This was a needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few situation and General Alder made the hard choice not the easy or nice one but the necessary one.

I'm a bit late, but hanging in there. This scene...eh I don't know. It seemed sour overall, and I think that's completely fine within the story arc. With the confirmation of a 10 episode season, this acts as a good "tipping point". The recruits we follow along the story are now facing this discrepancy of who to follow, or rather who is right in this fight. General Alder made a decision, and they (acting under "oath" or whatever it's called) were forced to obey the command, therefore killing civilians and Spree operatives all at once (as well as Libba Swithe, + any others not shown on screen). Of course, afterward they'd try to clean it up and keep their looks on the lighter side, but it definitely isn't a good first mission for these recruits to be on. This will have lasting effects on the characters' futures.

The spree would've probably used the bombs inside and everyone would've died. There weren't many good options. If they had known beforehand, they might've been able to come up with a better plan. Life doesn't always work out the way we want it to. We just have to make do with the information and resources we're given.

This scene alone proves us that this universe is pretty much in the morally grey area. Of course Alder is the head of the evil stuff, but now everyone is involved with killing civilians and doing morally questionable things. Anacostia for instance, she listens Alder with no doubt which leads her to do bad stuff too. This will not take too long, however.
