The overlay of Abigail replicating Jem’s Working with the monologue about Jem’s origin story is *chef’s kiss* perfect 👌🏽 (P.S. for anyone who did know, “Orangeux” is French for “having a lot of strong wind, a stormy day, stormy weather, etc.” which makes sense why they called her that without knowing her name!)

Oh yes ,Jem was a real powerful witch. And more intressted that two stepwards of the first song was so near but they dont know of the other; Jem and General Alder
Personally, I believe it’s because they were crucial to The Prophecy of Earth and Sky (which saved the world), and since the prophecy is over, it seems like the stewards have fulfilled their purposes. Alder said there will be the need for new stewards (aka the unit) to carry the plan out in the future with Tally’s vision, Raelle’s care, and Abigail’s fury. They are the ones most responsible for changing the world. Raelle was the catalyst that initiated the Witchbomb, Abigail is the most powerful witch in America (possibly the world, except for Khalida) and she carries a piece of the first song, and without Tally’s vision they never would have reached their goal for many reasons. They ARE goddesses when you look at it like that 😂 at least I think so! (P.S. it could be because of their uniquely powerful Work too: Raelle has her Christo-Pagan Fixing & all of the powers her connection with the Witchbomb gives her, Abigail can possibly manipulate multiple elements with ease (and if not, is a master at weather), and Tally’s vision is stronger than any witch before her allowing her to see days into the future or decades into the past. Even for witches they are on a whole different level! 💜
@@theflashthefastreviewerali8319 Well, technically every witch that returns to the Mycelium is immortal, remember? :) Alder, Willa, and every other witch that dies’ spirits go to the Mycelium after they die. However, to answer your question more directly: I don’t think it makes them physically immortal. Gods and Goddesses aren’t always immortal, actually a lot of them live and die just like humans just with supernatural abilities! I feel like that’s the case here. They are considered “goddesses” because they were the MAJOR contributors to the success of The Union of Earth and Sky, changing the world. They changed everything, shared the gift of the witch with the world! And they are the chosen future stewards, to ensure that the Mother’s plan goes smoothly in the future. I don’t really see them as any different physically being deemed “goddesses” by the Mother, it’s more like everything we’ve seen in the series so far has shown us that they are stronger than even the typical witch, and Alder confirms it when she calls them goddesses 😂 I mean Tally’s sight reaches farther than even Nicte -who spent YEARS looking in to the future- and any witch she’s ever heard of. Raelle is at the point of healing injuries that the best Fixers in the country couldn’t even touch, plus creating a whole new type of Work (aka the Witchbomb and all the additional powers it grants her.) Abigail can replicate Jem’s immensely powerful and uniquely personal Working, as well as other Work unused in her line! [Sorry this was so long 😭 Just some of my thoughts. I know the ending was a doozie, I hope this helps a lil]
@@theflashthefastreviewerali8319 Wow, I really typed all that and didn’t answer your question 😂 (most likely, because idk what is cannon or not) Raelle is not immortal and will not have to watch Scylla die. But even if she did, technically any witch is immortal (especially to Raelle who can communicate to witches from within the Mycelium). Actually, if Scylla was a part of the Mycelium, she’d probably be closer to Raelle because they could see each other whenever they wanted and nobody could kidnap Scylla or separate them ever again since the Mycelium is now all around the world. 😂 Honestly, I feel like there’s a lot of possibility for some kind of Work to extend/prolong life though (like Alder uses) or some special Necro Work, but it’ll work out even if not. Scylla sees the beauty in death, so even if she died you know she’d be like “My turn to make some pretty mushrooms for you this time, bb gorl” 🍄💜
That’s a good question! 🤔 Personally, I think she has that natural inclination towards freedom, so it might always be on her mind, but her parents’ deaths were what really pushed her over the line and make her want to push forward no matter what. She essentially lost everything she loved in that moment, until she met Raelle 💜
