I know, I know! It has been a very long time since I've posted anything here!
However, this is the beginning of what will be many more regular uploads to the channel
The first in a 3 part series, this is a cover of the wonderful Natalie Merchant song 'Motherland'. I sing this song the way I learned it! By listening to a good friend of mine, Danny Collins, who sang it at every drunken, late night sing song when we all lived in Florida!
Joining me in this 3 part series is my very good friend, Ali Levack from Inverness, Scotland

Ali called me one Sunday evening a few weeks ago to say he was coming to visit me on the Tuesday or Wednesday!
In typical Ali form, he didn't give me much notice.
We had wanted to record some tunes and songs for quite awhile and we just decided there and then that we should do a few videos!
This is the first of 3 videos that we recorded with the hugely talented Shane Claffey! (Who agreed to film all of these videos on 2 days notice)
We hope you enjoy these un-rehearsed, fully live takes which we recorded in around 3 hours!
