Haha, listen at 0.44 seconds in. As Forrest picks up the ball and starts to run you can hear a Motherwell fan shout, “You’ve got him in your back pocket” shortly followed by an “Awww Naw” as he puts Ajer through on goal 😂😂😂
James Forrest is getting greedier every season tbh we could've had three more goals today if he looks up and passes instead of shooting or running out of room.
Shaky first half, but wonderful second. Great individual performances from Ajer and N'tcham. I felt sorry for Motherwell who started excellently. If they play like they did in the first half hour regularly this season they could be in for a really good campaign.
Celtic are at home, and the Scottish League is of a slightly better quality than Romania so Celtic will be slight favourites but it will be very close. Whoever goes through will be huge underdogs against Slavia Prague.
@Cristi Elaine The league in Romania is in fact better than Scotland. But Celtic are better than Cluj. Would be difficult for Cluj to beat Celtic in Glasgow but we cannot take it for granted.
@Cristi Elaine respect for Cluj but numbers don't lie. The Scottish league is 19th strongest in Europe. Romania is 31st. Scotland doesn't just have Celtic and Rangers. Aberdeen, Hearts and Hibs are strong as well. Apart from Astra scraping past Inverness a few years ago i think Scottish teams have won the last 5 ties between the countries.
I follow the Scotland premiership from Argentina, it is my european favourite one.But It would be good for your competence that another team different from celtic and rangers get oportunity to win.
Ntcham is by far the best player in Scotland (KT included). Still wouldn't have been in my team last year though as he didn't try a leg but the guy is on another planet technically. He simply has it all. I'm pretty sure he played some part in almost all of the goals today. He might not be Celtic's Player of the season but the guy will go on to do big things. He's obviously screwed the nut since Brendan left, I don't think they got on, maybe the French guys could see BR's nice guy act especially after what happened with Moussa. Lennon has spoken to him and maybe used Van Dijk, Ki, Wanyama, Tierney etc as examples of what playing for Celtic can bring and it can lead to more opportunities. I think Lennon knows he's his top asset tbh.
They were brilliant for first 20 mins tbh maybe Motherwell manger should do a slippy G and say they would win the league if games finish at 20 mins hahaha Steven (86 mins) Gerrard
He's done that twice now btw, look at the goal he scored against Cluj, the first player he's coming into contact with which is Boli he totally patches him. Think a few players are pissed that this guy came in claiming we were his next step to the EPL when in actual fact if he continues as he is he'll struggle to get a game for Brechin City
Motherwell competed with Celtic for 70 minutes and actually were the much better team in first half. Celtic's midfield was overrun for spells and the back four and goalkeeper, excluding Ajer who was excellent, were pretty poor. Celtic scored most of their chances, most of which were down to suicidal defending by Motherwell, but actually they didn't create much over the 90 minutes. Motherwell also scored twice and could easily have scored 3, 4, or 5 themselves. Fair play to Celtic for being clinical and taking their chances but it wasn't a great performance, the scoreline flattered them and against higher level opponents they will have to up their performances by a LOT. Play like that against Slavia Praha or even Cluj and they won't be playing Champions League any time soon.
No point Bayern Munich, Juventus, Manchester City, Paris Saint Germain, Barcelona being in their respective leagues. Too dominant. They should move to another....oh...wait. it's the same story in loads of leagues. Somehow it's not good when it's Celtic though. Hmmm🤔 I'm old enough to remember the 90s when the original Ibrox club swept all before them domestically and I don't remember anyone calling for them to switch leagues. I also remember the early 80s when Aberdeen, under S.A.F were pretty much untouchable. Didn't hear about it then either. 🤷🏻♂️
Bolingoli not a defender in a million years, look how scared of the ball is he at the first goal. James Forrest ignored him on the assist as well at 3:32, dont like to see that, guy is struggling and Forrest should have showed appreciation for the assist because it was decent awareness. Boli should be a left wing backup and useful squad player at least but hayes better option at left back. Absolute disgrace we are in this position despite knowing since January tierney was leaving.
It was not a smashing Celtic were pooping themselves because we were dominating so they asked the Referee Nick Walsh which I’m sure he’s a Celtic Fan for help so he gave all the fouls to Celtic
Shut up. Celtic should have had 2 penalties and the guy clearly had two arms around griff. Took a goal to wake up celtic and a half time roasting off lennon to whip them into shape. Just be glad it wasn't our first 11
Absolute delusion haha motherwell had a 10 minute spell that was all after that it was all Celtic you would know that if you didn't leave like the rest of your fellow inbreds after the 4th goal.
You see, the thing is; 'we' can do it: "The Bhoys"; CAN do it; they just -need to: "play with Pride; "Hunger"; Passion and Purpose and "turn -up"; every_ -single_ week. Come on: "The Bhoys/Celts!!" 'WE' CAN DO IT!!
A debate titled “Forced Live Organ Extraction in China” was held in the British House of Parliament on March 26, 2019. Several Parliament members from multiple parties voiced their outrage and concern over the state-sanctioned crime of forced organ harvesting being carried out in China. BBC Radio 4 covered the debate during the “Yesterday in Parliament” program on March 27.
Was it just me or did I hear monkey noises at 4:15 when Edouard scored ? Hope I'm imagining it Great performance from Celtic finishing quality all over the pitch
@@hutchy-7326 yeah you look alright, rangers just beat a good European side away and they were fantastic, shame they conceded twice but this season is shaping to be a special one.
@Cubicle5 Celtic can compete to a point if they actually spent and bought some decent talent . Obviously not winning the champions league but group stage money should be a priority. Lawwell knows this too.
2-5 the amount of Motherwell fans to Celtic fans. No wonder Scottish soccer is suffering the empty seats could surely have been filled by the travelling support. Soccer is a sport first and secondly a business. Ask our Donald to invest in a Scottish soccer team and he'd soon make Scottish soccer GREAT AGAIN.
