It’s a hopeful, uplifting song and Rick’s vocals at the end just add another level to it. Chris mentioned Gordon had a hand in making the song sound more dramatic toward the end (if I remember that right).

A lot of people were probably expecting a bit more DOOM integrated into the song, I was sorta in that boat though I wasn't too disappointed because I know Mick Gordon does a lot more than just than the djenty DOOM music. Definitely a song that I've appreciated more as I listen to it a few more times, and its been easier to tell some of Mick's influence.

@@MrShoniBare nope. Slaughterhouse, S.T.E.O.T.W, Cyberhex, then Masterpiece in that order. This song is the perfect closer. Cyberhex is really good but by far the most overrated single.

The thing I really dig about this song is that it gives me like, late 2000s metalcore energy, like it sounds like this could’ve been on Escape the Fate’s “This War Is Ours” album and I mean that 100% as a compliment

Dude another Banger from my boys in MIW....Love the screams in the background and the melodies. Told you back in October that 2022 belongs to MIW AOTY for sure! Slaughterhouse is the best so far but the band as a whole said wait till you hear Werewolf get ready bro 7 days I can't wait!

Can we just talk about the fact that this album is a “Blegh” sandwich with the first track and last track open with a Blegh! Whilst it’s not my favourite off the album, I absolutely LOVE this track. As you said it once again shows the versatility of MIW and combines even more elements throughout one song. I definitely hear Doom influences from the electronics and The vocals by Chris at the end just give me shivers every time! The lyrics too are once again SO powerful, especially with the meaning behind them of people being brought together through music (typified by these brilliant reaction videos such as yours).

As I commented on the original video, I still don't get why everyone was expecting something super heavy again since Slaughterhouse just came out weeks ago. That said, I think this is now my 2nd favourite just behind Slaughterhouse. The synth work was just incredible. Chris said on Nik's stream last night that the bridge was all Mick if I remember correctly. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm actually happy there wasn't a breakdown. There's plenty of room on the album for more breakdowns lol.

I totally get early Breaking Benjamin vibes with this one too.... I'm loving it though! I know they are both from the same area (separate towns though) and BB is a inspiration for MIW. I think it's sorta inevitable with so many bands in one genre, and many find inspiration in others, it's going to eventually remind people of certain songs or certain bands they find inspiring....

My only criticism is that they do the thing that groups always do when they bring in the electronic elements, they make the guitar tone all fuzzy, makes it feel soft to my ears. Takes some of the punch out of it for me.
