Damnit man!!!!! I was 18 & infatuated with Tommy Lee!!!! Motley was my favorite band since 1983!!! My whole bedroom was covered in posters, tapestries & Circus magazine pics of CRUE!!!
Lol,that's funny,my girlfriend back then was infatuated with Nikki but said I looked like Tommy,we went to see them here in Buffalo,NY at the old Memorial Auditorium "The Aud" on their Dr. Feel-good tour, and it was louder and a way better show than anything else I saw before that, but id say Metallica AJFA tour just before this one was about the same,id love to be able to go back to them days, there will never be anything like it,we were all very Blessed to grow up in that era,you can't beat it
Actually pretty good sounding performance!! Vince Neil one of my favorite studio voices in the history who I’ve never thought of as a great live singer. He definitely surprises me at times.
@@RB-tx4mn You’re either deaf or a COMPLETE MORON! This is literally the album version playing through the PA with Vince singing a live vocal over top! There’s multiple guitar parts & the drums don’t synch up at times!! 🤣🤣 This ain’t an opinion, it’s a DEMONSTRABLE FACT! If you don’t realize that you’re clueless… 🤦🏼♂️
@@RB-tx4mn The timing is EXACTLY THE SAME as the “radio edit” for the tune from 89’ down to the EXACT SECOND!! That would literally be impossible!! 🤦🏼♂️
@@MotleyLand - motley has been doing it at live shows as well since then going back to Girls Tommy wore headphones back in the day if you remember (had a headset mic built in) Those are for the click track and the backing tracks that are prerecorded I’m a drummer that has used this method many times in other bands that I was a “hired gun” for
@@joeylynch8060 And? I couldn't care less. They always put on a good live show - which is what I pay to see. That being said - I'm skipping the stadium thing......
It’s literally just the album track with the main vocal removed for Vince to sing “live” over. No one is actually playing anything live drums included…
He could have been this standard pretty consistently if he had cared. Sixx calls him lazy in the book, and that's what I've always seen with Vince, a guy that could deliver but didn't care enough to do the maintenance. The guys who are still out there sounding good are the ones with diligence and a dedication to the craft.
My God!!! They sounded so good back then.. you could hear them all singing background vocals at the end. Vince’s voice was so strong. What a difference 30+ years makes 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️Saw them May of 1990. One of my first shows ever.
Damn I miss the 90s and the birth of MTV and hair metal that was short lived to grunge. All good as it was a great time for music. They seem so sober at the moment that’s hilarious. Great interview.
@@mikeoxinya570 yes I know and it was still alive in the early 90s. I saw Pantera in Dalls for their Cowboys From Hell video in 88. They weren’t hair metal by then. Texas sludge and Dimebag Darrel RIP.
Yeah, he owns a few and has used them in the studio. I don't remember seeing him play with one live other than this video. Mick's my guitar hero and I'm a PRS guy myself.
How tf you kick Vince out after putting on vocal performances like these and their best record since shout at the devil? I was a crushed 15 year old kid man. Broke my heart. I knew motley was done after that. Happy to have witnessed them on the feelgood tour. My first concert ever.
