Motley was my mom's favorite band and this was the only song she specifically told us to play at her funeral. She was 72 when she passed and loved going to their concerts. She was a leather-clad, heavy rocker, great-grandmother too.
I was born in 2003, I am 19 as of writing this. My dad was born in 64 and my mom 63, and they grew up in their young adult years in the 80s. Which is how I was introduced to 80s rock. From even a young age like 3 I remember my old man rocking bands like Motley Crue, Whitesnake, Cinderella, AC/DC, VH, Zeppelin, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, etc…My mom playing bands like Journey, Boston, Stones, Steely Dan, ELO, etc…I got the best of both worlds from them in terms of 80s rock, and I’m grateful for it. I love my generations music like rap and pop, but I’d be lying if I said rock wasn’t my favorite genre. Thank you mom and dad! I would kill just to experience 1 hour in the 1980s. Seems like a time period that I missed out on. Every time I’m with my friends and I get control of the aux, I always play 80s rock and they seem to love it. Best era in music history. Hell in human history.
The 80's was most definitely the BEST decade!! I lived my teen years throughout the 80's..let me tell ya...it was so much fun..I was a fan of all genres of music back then..old school rap..dance..hip hop..rock..heavy metal..new wave...pop...then you had the fantastic movies that were released (my favorite is Fast Times at Ridgemont High...it defined the 80's)...fashion was crazy good...although now some might be considered cringey 🤣 ...and social media was non existenent(which was a GOOD thing)...we had our independence..had a blast going wherever and doing whatever with our friends...I would do it all over again if I could ❤ I MISS THE 80'S!! ❤❤

I'm a peruvian, living in the US because of my career. I'm proud to say that I finally got to see my favorite band during this Stadium tour. I never thought that you guys were ever going to come to Peru..... sad but true. I got the chance to buy tickets and I can say that you guys are the best fucking ever!! I missed out on the stadium tour show in 2022 at Fenway Park in Boston (we had tickets for the August 5th concert date) ...because my husband ABSOLUTELY REFUSED to take ONE day off from work...we got to the venue about an hour and a half before showtime...we couldn't find parking..so he turned the car around and DROVE HOME...needless to say I was LIVID..then he had the balls to say if anyone asked.we agreed to turn around and go home..I only said fine (to avoid a MAJOR raging blowout fight in the car) ...I posted EXACTLY what happened on face book after we got home....people were shocked...then I found out he lied to his coworker about the debacle..I told her what REALLY happened...
Absolutely lucky to be in high school when this came out. Used to lift weights in my room to Crue. Never thought I'd ever get to see them but was fortunate enough to do so back in 2013. Best band stage presence, hands down. Thanks for the lifetime memories--my boys love Smokin' in the Boys Room 🤫🤘
