i never understood the video until i read that it is the worst moments of each members life, first is Vince and the car accident where he seriously injured 2 people and killed his friend while drunk, then is Mick fighting ankylosing spondylitis, then Tommy in prison for assaulting Pamela Anderson, finally Nikki and his heroin overdose and having to be brought back to life. Truly an amazing song and video
This is why you kiss your women in the morning before you leave, even if she is asleep, and always tell kids you love them as they leave or you leave, shit happens, maybe they will find comfort knowing you loved them, even if you was at each others throat the night before
Johnie Nicholson Reminds me of a story I once read, A man would buy a rose for his wife everyday and place it on the nightstand in the morning before she woke up, He did it for many years. she claimed he made sure she got the rose even if he was sick. One day she woke up and she found no rose, she said she knew he was gone. Sometimes the little things mean a lot,
Thats just it. It's that one thing that means so much to you but to anyone else it's just dumb. Thanks for the hit back and i hope you find everything you want in this life OK And with that i am OUT.......................
I'm battling stage 4 brain cancer and I have been to my husband's and children's funerals to make me realize what I have lost I live for them 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🙏🙏🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸💙💙💙💙💙
"If I Die Tomorrow" I wake up to find myself After all these years And where all the time has gone Still seems so unclear 'Cause there's no one else Since I found you I know it's been so hard You should know If I die tomorrow As the minutes fade away I can't remember Have I said all I can say? You're my everything You make me feel so alive If I die tomorrow It brings out the worst in me When you're not around I miss the sound of your voice The silence seems so loud 'Cause there's no one else Since I found you I know it's been so hard You should know If I die tomorrow As the minutes fade away I can't remember Have I said all I can say? You're my everything You make me feel so alive If I die tomorrow I spent all my life Looking for our innocence I've got nothing to lose One thing to prove I won't make the same mistakes Now I know That everything will be ok When I die tomorrow If I die tomorrow As the minutes fade away I can't remember Have I said all I can say? You're my everything You make me feel so alive If I die tomorrow You make me feel so alive If I die tomorrow If I die tomorrow
I was born a bit too late to experience MC in their prime but when I heard this song it just knocked my shoes off. Great tune. Kinda wish Vince would get in shape and delivered a solid life performance in this day and age but I am probably asking too much.
This video is so fucking powerful. Vince in the car, Tommy in jail, Mick in the hospital and in a coffin, and Nikki falling with the wings, just wow. I cry every time.
This single clearly drifted away from the rock and roll spirit that they've carried since 1981 and was much more metal, but damn, it was good. I wish the Saints album hadn't been the last one. This band was one of the greatest musical influences in my life and I wasn't even alive yet when they released half of their records.
I'm a younger fan, this was my first exposure to Motley Crue in 2005 and I was hooked from the first verse. Love everything else but way back when I heard this for the first time this was and still is my favorite from them.
Im sorry for all the things Lynn......If I die tomorrow your always the only one I ever wanted....spread my ashes across the cow pasture around the pasture around the pond where we last made love where I first walked as a young one in my first years...love always JR
I just watched a Crue doc on this tour. I loved this band when I was younger. I never gave their later albums a chance. That being said I gotta say this a good fuckin song...
People grow up, they got clean. They change. Their music is still amazing regardless of whether its new or old. They don't need to quit, they are amazing just because you don't like music doesn't give you the right to say they need to quit. It takes balls to take a change in music.
I never told my wife I loved her the last day of her life. We always made it a point to say it everyday but I was upset at her that day. So now I’m haunted by that fact. Everyone please cherish your loved ones because our lives hang by a thread.
When you fly nearly 100 feet out of a car and break around 20 bones, damage an arm nerve and dislocate an ankle songs like this get much more appreciation.
I'll never forget where I was when I heard this I was so happy that they were coming back together. I had to pull my car over and just sit and listen to this.
I remember when this song came out and they were playing it on the radio a lot I was driving one day when it came on and i was like "damn, this song rocks, who is this? the singer sounds like Vince Neil......wait a sec....this IS Motley!"
It’s difficult to tell because lyrics are always open to interpretation…but I remember Crue doing this song shortly after Vince was on that TV show with MC hammer, who is a pastor and they were talking about if Vince believes in God. I mean, the lyrics really hit all the nails on the head in reference to the creator or a higher being. I’ve always thought of this song being about Vince repenting a bit and affirming his faith in the creator. I remember on that show it hit him really hard when talking about losing his daughter and Hammer consoling him about it through faith.
This video is powerful and strong. I love it. This is one of the best bands around and people need to realize this kind of music won't be around for long because of the new shit. We have to let this live on!
With you on that one. Wish music could just be music again. Music needs bands like this one to tell all that you don't have to make crap and think it's so cool, just make it good, is that to much to ask for.........................................
Me and my husband when we were 1st dating we both had death wishes for many years..we've been together 27 years married only 4 of them and sobered up 16 years ago and life has been amazing since
WOW, that's what the world needs today, a little more love.. Now 27 years Ooooo you two need a trophy, and a party to show the young people, that with love and TIME all things in this world are possible.. Love the take... Thanks and you guys have a great life.......... OUT............
boy times have changed. when i was 17 in 1987 and going to concerts i would wear my leather jacket and my judas priest tshirt with my long hair. i took pride in supporting my bands. also ready to go to a party afterwards till 3 am. those were great times. with todays music i dont see kids really supporting it for long time. to me 80s heavy metal and hard rock was the best and at its peak. to the kids out there that is why guys my age will defend the music back then. plus 80s girls were so hot.
Vince Neil= car incident Mick mars= battle against his disease Nikki sixx= His drug problems/momentary death Tommy Lee= Prison days for drug problems and for hit womans. 0:58/1:28/1:43/1:58
A very, very Happy 59th Tommy. Thomas Lee Bass born in Athens, Greece October 3, 1962. Military brat. Rebellious against authority. Turned him into a rock drum influence for many years to come. Many more Mr. Bass..
I feel the same way about the video! It actually made me cry! It's amazing how all the members( especially Nikki Sixx, died twice and brought back to life, I read The Heroin Diary, The Gods were definitely watching over. Nikki for sure! Motley Crue is definitely a kick Ass Amazing Group!👍
Although this is a somewhat sorta recent release i still say it kicks ass...and i was Motley Crue fan back in the nid 80's so maybe I'm a little bias but i feel the heaviness in it...

Lol I've been a fan since I was a kid ! At 8 bought Shout at 8 ! Funny how they always record a song that fits my life ! At one of darkest points I got this song! With all the noise and bullshit ! Sitting here in 2024 and seeing 50 coming up fast ! This song and alot of others hits home
What a great Motley Crue song. This was released just before they went on their sold out tour of 2004-2005. The band was reunited from fan interest and management who wished to see the original members back together again. I attempted to go see them in Boston and Philly, but to no avail, both venues were sold out....Bummer.
I just watched the resurrecting motley crue documentary and it introduced me to this song. Definitely their best work after their 80s prime. Also after rewatching the dirt, this song is definitely the result of them maturing, evolving and going through all the ups and downs, and struggles they went through.
