I feel the same way. I watched him before and during his service and understand what a sacrifice it was. As a result, I’m very appreciative of those that serve our country. USA!!!
@@megsmotorcyclejourney ... its a simple gesture... saying "Thank You"...that all of us should say anytime...all the time we see someone in uniform serving our country...including first responders.... 🇺🇸USA🇺🇸
Wow Meg !!! Awesome footage again !!!! And I listened to every word you said !!! Yes you're beautiful and eye catching , but at the same time you're very well spoken , genuine and just a pleasure to listen to , and I can multi task , so listening and looking are no problem 😁 By the way pass on my Thanks to cameraman for serving our country in the Navy !!!! "What boat"....lol...I also like listening to you...you have a interesting cadence to your speaking....I like it cause its slow...direct....and accurate....great vlog...camman did a great job getting all the really good views....👌...stay safe you two !!!
There I was eating my evening meal , as the fork reached my mouth, I looked up to see Meg, doing a handstand in jeans and a bikini top. With that,my hand got the shakes and the Liver and onion went down all over my white T-shirt.! Great video. Can't wait for the oil change .😁🇬🇧🇬🇧
Hi Meg, I've been looking forward to this trip, and you didn't disappoint. The clutch cable was a big set-back, especially tracking one down! I like cameraman's way of filming, with the star of the show always in shot. Kayaking at night looked a bit scary, but great fun to watch. Thank you for bringing us along on this Florida adventure of a lifetime.
Nice! Well up here in New England in March is a crap shoot. I started my bike today after not running it in a while. Waiting for better weather when not working. Yup I am living vicariously through watching your riding videos. Will be in Laconia the second week but planning on having my girlfriend put some miles on before the ride up north!
Cameraman thank you for your service (and I don't mean filming Ms Meg but thank you for that too, lol)! Megalicious always looking great!! Hopefully I'll run into you guys at Myrtle Beach this coming May. Be safe

Thank you for taking us on your trip more please!!! Like this one ,I am looking forward to them ,sunshine was great as you were .love the boat camping just great at least you didn’t fall in!!!!love from Devon Uk❤️
That is such a great ride through the Keys on a bike! We went a few yrs ago and it was pouring the rain most of the trip so I trailered my bike down hoping I would get to ride at some point. On the last day it was only drizzling so I decided to ride out. About 20 minutes into the ride the sun came out, the rain stopped, and I got to enjoy the ride back to Homestead. Definitely a great memory. Glad you guys got to experience it! Enjoy the vids! It combines everything I enjoy. Motorcycles and beautiful attorneys!!! 😉
Hahaha, I was dying "not that half of you are listening to what I'm saying". Well I mean dang girl! Lol Keep on living the dream love the ridi! Keep it between the lines!
Might I suggest a run to Frontier BBQ once they are open on their summer schedule? Intersection of PA16 and 116 Fairfield, PA. Chad has built up a very cool business there over the years. Great food, outdoor seating, very biker friendly and surrounded by great roads. Close to Gettysburg and Emmitsburg, MD.
I live in Minnesota and heated handlebar grips are a luxury, you need to spoil yourself and you will not regret it. A heated seat is also a good thing. Your swimsuit is as good as it gets. What more can I say? Bless your heart.
Great tour Meg! Thank you for sharing, I have driven that stretch of road in my car many times but not done it by motorcycle. It is a thing I want to do. If you get down there again take the tour out to the Dry Tortugas! You look great and as always Ride Safe!!
Thank you that was great beautiful place to ride you are right needs some turns and hills to keep it interesting gets boring just go straight thanks for sharing take care and ride safe
Well I rode to Pensacola Fl, just to have my front cylinder die. So my bike is getting a big bore kit but its now in FL & I'm in IN now... So looks like had the same luck. Also I superglued fuzzy things to my Go pros to kill that wind noise. Works great till about 80! So I listen as good as I see u!
By the way Mag. Your hard work in the gym shows. Great YT channel. Thanks for sharing your bike adventures and info. Looking forward to the up coming bike weeks in the area. Thanks from Pa.
If you haven’t ever broken down on a motorcycle trip you haven’t ever been on one it has happened to the best of us. I was at biketoberfest 3 years ago and broke down a had to rent a car to come home and then drive back a month later with trailer and pick my bike up. Lost my whole trip but it has happened to most of us that ride with groups are other people. Trust me it want be the last time it’s just all part of the experience.
Called Florida home from Oct 2013-June 2020, six of those years on the Space Coast (A1A Cocoa Beach). My favorite was my year in Ft. Myers Beach (SW Florida), in off-season it was a tropical paradise. And there is a daily hydro to Key West, with real facilities and boat drinks.
In the journey of life there will B many paths. Some good, bad, and ugly. Choose 1 for yourself that enlightens your soul and brings you joy. Myself and if I may speak for Meg we choose to RIDE.
Been to South Beach on Vacation 😀 I prefer the Mountains and the Bends!!! Rockies and the Ozarks are a must do.. Can name more than a dozen routes through each. Sturgis is Badass and beautiful as well!! Yeah y'all definitely need to head out West... My Texas has about every kind of environment and terrain there is to ride.. Y'all make it here I'd be glad to show you around😉👊 Sorry for the luck at Daytona, but looks and sounds like y'all made the best of it....😏😜 Thanks for your past and present SERVICE Camera Man... MUST BE ROUGH...👍👏👍👏👍👏😎 Stay well Folks
Hahahaha. He’s always had a rough job. 😜 We are planning to do Sturgis next year! We are trying to map out seeing as many states as possible in 3 years!
you were talking about bike weeks ..kinda like cars shows ,,bike rallys are fun with bikers hope you pick sturgis sd to go to its a long haul but the riding is magic .and hills curves,,,,the bad lands kinda feels like your on a different planet so much to see hogrock and kentucky bike rally are great party's also be cool to meet you guys if you go what about the bars ? looks like your leaning forward still are you comfy yet
Key West is one of my bucket list rides as well. I have a ride planned from Southern Cal to Deals Gap, NC to ride the Dragon, then we’re heading south to Key West and back to Cali. Roughly 6400 miles round trip in 14 days hopefully.
That sounds like a great trip you have planned. You will love it!! You also have some great rides in Cali - PCH, Mullholland Drive, etc. Stay safe and have fun. Like she mentioned though FL is straight, flat and, once you leave GA, all down hill. Literally.
@@jgibson111 your right great riding in Southern Cal. I have ridden all over the western states this will be my first trip on a bike east of Houston. Looking forward to it. Thanks for the heads up I have heard how flat and straight the roads are in Florida.
Meg! That was by far one of the funniest and most adventurous videos yet. I'm going to add moto-camping to my list of things to do in 2022 Daytona bikeweek. Let me know if you need a garage to film the oil change video. I have the tools and everything setup. Hope to see you at Myrtle Beach bike week. We're leaving Ashburn Va on Friday May 7th.
Meg, if I didn't invite you to Alaska, please come visit us in the far north. The beautiful scenery will look so much nicer when your here! Mid June is our state HOG Rally. Come hang out.
The Fatboy is cool 😎. Great u were able to get a ride in Miami 🏍️ 🌴 Nice big cruise ships there. Great views. Wow the road next to the ocean seemed to go on forever, but is amazing. Ah interesting that you cannot practice law in different states. I never knew it doesn't apply anywhere in the US. The kayak to get takeaway looked like fun. KeyWest looks amazing. Very tropical place. Well done on the handstand 👍
Thank you for all the kind feedback! It was a heck of an adventure. We appreciate you watching!! And yes practicing in one state does limit your ability to move easily.
Hello,Meg when you go to myrtle beach check out the venders at bare foot landing on hy 17 n and most of the biker hang outs are on the south end Harley has a lot of venders as well as in murrells inlet south 17 be sure to check out the Bever bar and the SBB and the spokes and bones they have good bands there also hope to see you out there ride safe jimmy t
@@megsmotorcyclejourney Kidding aside, with COVID and shutdowns...keeping in shape, keeping muscle...it's tough...much respect...your still maintaining a six pack...inspirational.
I really don’t know what you’re getting at when you say we never really listen to what you’re saying most of the time 🙈 actually in fairness your journey on bike and life is really interesting. Keep being awesome x
looks like you guys had a great time! great footage, too. keep the great content coming. Also, if you wanna do a rally where riding is a real big part, do Sturgis, for sure.
Been down A1A in my vette with top down to the Keys did a lot of boating along with scuba diving if you never been it’s a pretty ride on a bike so you should enjoy the sights you’ll see in the Keys
Certainly it looks like an interesting experience. Not so sure about the kayaking in the dark.. Glad you enjoyed your trip. Here in the UK we get use to riding in the cooler temperatures. Stay safe and enjoy your ride. 🤓💙🏍️🏍️
Thank you for watching! It was certainly an adventure. We ride in the cold here (I’ve been riding in 30 degree weather here) but I certainly prefer the warmer weather.
I enjoyed your comments about riding. I have been to many of the rallys from Daytona to Laconia to Sturgis and while I enjoyed them a couple of times, I would rather ride than people watch for days on end. I am not a big alcohol drinker, so that part is not appealing. I go to Sturgis for one day of the rally and then I just take in the beauty of riding the Black Hills area. The same with Laconia and the mountains in that area. Weir's Beach is a must. Daytona, Myrtle Beach, Ocean City are all ok for a day but living in Virginia Beach I see sand and surf regularly. Thunder in the Smokies Rally in Maggie Valley is a good riding rally. Be safe.
I'm glad it turned out to be a great trip. Thanks for sharing. Clutch cable?!?! They still use cables not hydraulic? Oh yeah it's a Hardley Abelson. Personally I'm glad it wasn't much warmer because you may not have worn those tight ass leather pants! And I'm surprised you hadn't given the motorboat camping much thought beforehand. When I watch your videos I usually think of motorboating!
To camera man thanks for your service from a fellow navy veitnam Era vetern. Know Kent island and Saint Michael's area both boating and motorcycling. Next year if you come back for Daytona, 3 hour ride west to Anna Marie island and Sarasota fl . Just about as nice as the keys . Good riding getting to Sarasota area and back to Daytona meg love your videos FLORIDA HUGH
@@megsmotorcyclejourney yes have done auto train several times only way to go excellent idea well rested when you get to Florida no driving book early for nice rates Florida HUGH
Hi Megan you guys had fun.nice footage cameraman.megan I noticed the back of your bike isn't lit up very bright.custom dynamics has a plug and play set up .you just take your signal bulbs out and twist in these super bright led lights!! I've been hit from behind a number of times ! So I have in some of my bikes the led custom dynamics lights so much brighter! If this interests you there great lights!!!Rich.
I always listen to what you are saying! Lol. Thanks for taking us along to Key West! What is the name of the music you play at the end of your videos? My sound hound doesn’t recognize it? See you on the next video!👍🏻
I’m not actually sure about the music- it’s a royalty free option that came with my editing software (Wondershare Filmora). Thank you for coming along on our journey!
My ex- and I used to always end up rolling into our overnight stops after dark, but we never had to then paddle kayaks to get to our room 🤣 🌊🛶. That's quite an adventure, for sure! PS. Love your sunglasses! Couldn't quite read the brand name though . . .
Looks like you guys were still able to salvage good times out of the trip..😀 PS: I don't know if the handstand was perfect, but it certainly looked good enough for me!
I see you didn’t take my recommendation on the 2 1/2 “ krome works slip ons. IMO they would look way better. Otherwise keep on doing what you’re doing 👍 Going riding in central PA. Around 8:30 & it’s 25 degrees @ 5:30🥶
I got the Khrome Werks Slip ons for free. I posted the install video. They had to come off for the Daytona trip because I needed new gaskets and there was a bunch of air leaking out but they are back on.
@@megsmotorcyclejourney Yes I know they were free, I watched the vid that’s why I said it then. Maybe you can work your charm 😊and trade back to KW. For the 2 1/2
Yo' Meg, Yeah, Miami to Key Largo is a boring ride, and after that it's a long way to Key West , 7 mile bridge and all, but some pretty scenery. You and those Red Pants again , Damn ! Anyway, tell My Dawg, Michael , that broken clutch cable was probably a good thing, since he got to ride that Sweet Fat Boy with a windshield and all. Not to mention the comfortability factor. I liked those long shot pipes as well. Damn nice bike. My favorite Harley. Did you go to The Pier in Key West and experience all the festivities as the sun went down into the ocean, or stop at Sloppy Joes Bar? A real treat is to take an airplane tour of the area. That is totally amazing , seeing the reefs, sunken ships, variations in color as the depths change , and of course, the islands themselves. Please do next time. You will be glad you did. I do listen to every word you say and I see no need to tune in if not. So, don't sell yourself short, we want to hear you as well as see you!!! Last ride to Key West for me it was the peak of summer. The roads were backed up and crawling. My 2006 Deuce's motor was boiling hot. I was worried about it seizing up and being ruined. It was barely broken in. The heat from the motor as well as the sun made it the most miserable ride of my life. 70-80 degree temps would have been welcomed. Perhaps it's better that it was cooler for you guys. I'm glad ya'll got to come to Florida . I would like to have met ya'll and even rode with you guys. Maybe next time. Take care !
Thank you for the suggestions and kind feedback. A plane tour does sound amazing! We’d love to meet you! I was mostly joking about not listening- but I appreciate you watching and listening and following our journey! We explored a bit in the morning but were pretty exhausted when we got there. Michael did enjoy the rental bike- more than he thought he would- I think.
Fun, fun! Meg I noticed you drop your left arm quite a bit. I do the same, circulation problems for me. Just need to shake my hands out once in a while.
Hey Meg nice to see you & C man got to enjoy some riding & some good food🍔🍺, nice headstand by the way most people have no idea the condition you need to be in to pull that off👍 i owe you a beer cameraman thx 🍺🖖😎.
While I have enjoyed your video I also enjoy your views on much of your trip and bikes. My wife and I were down that way last year to include key west. Next time, if cameraman has military ID still stay on the base better rooms and facilities with little money. I’m an Army vet, my wife is an Air Force retired person. I hope to repeat that trip on my new Tri Glide purchased after the trip last year. We love to ride with you guys some time. Oh, cameraman may like where I work, the Navy Museum in DC.
What's a motorcycle trip without some trials? My wife and I had our fair share of those on our trip too! If you guys have the grit to make it out to Cali, the PCH is my recommend.
@@megsmotorcyclejourney That's awesome! There are some beautiful places to see out west. Especially California and Utah. Lots of gorgeous national parks.
Hey get a hold of doodle and her two wheels likes camping and maybe putting a group together. Her two wheels loves 💘 camping and I guarantee she knows where to find camping gear.
Still rolling at references of "Cameraman"...official new name. Lived in NOVA many years and you're right, MD, DC, and VA areas not the best to ride except when Rolling Thunder was around. Just found you on RU-vid, plan on following your adventures.
Aww thank you! Welcome! Appreciate you following along. I like north western Maryland in the warm months and there are places in south west VA to ride that are beautiful in the summer but DC is no good. The winter weather is also not my favorite.
@@megsmotorcyclejourney completely understand and know, good areas to ride in the summer and festival times. The area is not best for the winter or highway riding. If I see ya on the road while riding, I'll say hello.
