Had pix/vids dating back to late 2022. Did transfer project, more recent and going backard. Just fine till I got back to spring '23 showing in phone folder but not copying to intended hard drive. Tried moving all transferred files to another folder. thinking might again transfer more recent to oldest but stil no-go. Any tips?

Great video, but I have a question, do you have to go into that setting thingie everytime? Did it today and worked great, but I disconnected it, connected again and it seems I have to do the process all over again. Is there a way I can leave that setting forever? Process that starts at 1:30.

What would prevent your video files from transferring to the Desktop? Everytime I do the transfer, I cannot find the files in Internal storage. It's a mystery. I searched in downloads and google drive. No files. Without this transfer method I have to share/download direct to RU-vid and it's eating up my data. Big time.

Hello, i have a problem with my phone that keeps vibrating when i charge and turn on and just his logo you can see, it's started when my phone zero lowbattery then the warning appeared and i press the reset and that's the reason my phone keep vibrating until now it's almost 1month i couldn't use it i just want to fix this bcuz it's my first ever have that i want to treasure it and it's my gift from my father. I use to be able to transfer pics but no longer can. The USB transfer page isn't available anymore. I also don't get the "charging by USB" either. When I plug in my phone I do get the connection noise but that's it. Can't find anything in settings either. Any ideas? I've tried different cables and different computer usb ports.

This phone is a frustrating pos and not intuitive at all. For what only takes two steps on other phones requires 20 steps and all kinds of external wiring on this one. I'm trying to sell guitars on ebay and craigslist but this pos phone won't allow me to transfer photos to those websites.😠

Watch your screen immediatelly after plugging in the USB c connector to your phone. Should pop up at the bottom then.

How would I go about transferring a select few pictures from my phone to my laptop ? Or, is it possible to keep the photos on both my phone And laptop. Like a ' copy ' and paste, instead of a ' cut' and paste ?

Hello there. I hope the guru of the video can help. I have an earlier model Power G (2020). It has the same feature shown in this video. I have used it many times. The issue is screen where it shows "File Transfer" option is grayed out. I cannot select the "File Transfer" option or anything for that matter. I think I tapped the "connected device" option (it was on "This Device" option). Now I can't select anything from that screen and therefore can't connect to the PC. I have never had this issue before. Can you help?

Your screen is too bright and can't really make out what you are pointing to. Enabled file sharing on phone but could not get Moto Power to show up on my Mac. Have been able to do this b4 but not working working anymore. Guess I need a more " instructions for Dummy's". Thanks for trying. Looks like it was helpful to others.

Call me lazy, but I just put in a big micro sd card and went into the camera settings and told it to save to the sd card. When I need to transfer photos, I turn off the phone, pull the card and insert it in a computer using a memory card adapter.

This phone is allegedly a step up but is actually a pos and and not intuitive at all. For what only took one or two steps on my older phone now takes 20 steps on this pos.😠

my moto did not pull up "Charging this device" as you instructed. Went to Settings > search >USB Preferences and followed your instructions. Glad you have captions.
