Gosh, that thing is exquisite. It looks about a week old. They were becoming an anachronism at the time, as the UJM had effectively taken over.... But what a wonderful anachronism. No longer a track bike by then (other than at IMOC days) bit wickedly swift on the road and so much more engaging and visceral in its connection and intent than most other machines. Chapeau for keeping it so long and keeping it so sweet. I am sure it is still as good to ride as ever it was..... Lovely machine.
I’ve had the Le Mans, a Mk 2 and now have a Mk3 which I really believe is the best of the breed. Currently they are still within reach, but for how much longer? Thanks for sharing.
