Thank you, thank you for sharing! I was dealing with my fingers going to sleep on the throttle hand during rides.(V85tt) I just did this mod, wow what a differance! I drilled the screw head carfully and put an easyout in a battery drill and very slowly backed them right out. Then replaced them with a phillips screw. Thanks agin, enjoy your ride
This is the reason I recorded it. Because I looked on the Web and couldn't find an aftermarket mod I could buy. I also couldn't find a mod I could do until I spoke with the guy from the guzzi meet. I went out for a 1hr ride last night and without realising, when I got back home I didn't use cruise the whole time I was out.. Which is the result was looking. So I only really use cruise when on M/ways now 👍🏼
Hi Bucky, love your videos! Im about to pull the trigger on a v85tt from megabikes, just have 1 important question. Have you found good mechanics in dublin or other parts of ireland that know their way with motto guzzis? I would have to run into ecu problems and such and the dealers not know what they are doing!
Thanks for the kind comment. I live on the North Coast of NI. But I fellow Yt'er called Mark young media has just bought a V85TT from a dealer in Dublin. He lives around there I belive. I also know there is an official Guzzi dealer in Dublin. Personality I've had the bike 1 Yr and done 7800 miles on it with no issues. We are heading for Wicklow mountains this weekend. And it looks like the camping gear is gonna get well tested 🤣🤣🤣
I only like using it when on a Motorway/Highway. When riding through towns and by-roads, twisties I like manually controlling the throttle. But, I have zero issues now. I have been out for a few 1hr long rides and didn't need Cruise once.
