Those are some cool pieces of history. There is one that is about a mile away from my house that is still in use. I drive over now and again and there is another one about 15 miles away that is still in use also.

Being born in cottage Grove I really like that, I remember the covered bridges. I haven’t been back there in a while good video thanks!

Very cool - I grew up in Oregon City and don't remember having visited these bridges... and we were a traveling family. What a fun experience for your family!

Your boys are growing big and fast! Just keep doing what you are doing- I think it's working! The kids look great and glad to be there. Mom's a treat too! ON getting cows to come to you; rattle a feed sack where they can hear it- a paper grocery sack will work most times; don't rattle it around the bull, though- bulls tend to get onery when they hear feed sacks and don't get fed! AMHIK! BTW, it's been way too long since I had that much fun in a puddle!

I take it that the bridges were covered to protect the structural timbers. I've never seen a covered bridge, from New Zealand. Q. Why do kids wear gumboots A. To fill them full of water
