There is one place in the middle of Croatia’s Dalmatia region, a place which has, over the years, spontaneously become moto pilgrimage site for many local motorcyclists and their guests from far corners of Croatia, neighboring countries and even further than that.
That place is called Dubci.
Right where the mighty Biokovo mountain rises steeply from the deep, blue and clear Adriatic Sea, there’s that part of the Adriatic coastal road D8 where that road is crossing paths with another winding road going up the steep slopes of the Biokovo. Loved by the motorcyclists and many other passing motorists, the place offers amazing views of the rugged looking mountain coming together with the Adriatic sea and island of Brač in the distance.
There is a rest stop there where you can park to savor the moment and enjoy the view.
That’s exactly what we did.
