Hello Вячеслав Ерофеев, Thank you for the nice words, you captured the spirit of the work, I put my heart and soul into my projects, especially because our life is directly connected to the results when it is done. You made a good observation. My engine has higher cyclinder head that all others engines already assembled on ths frame. I looked it before mounting. I did jumps and no problem! The only clearance issue that I had was with the carburetor, but even that was no problem to be mounted.

Hello Joshua / Carol / Jesse. This Motoped set up is 106cc race engine for Miniracing bikes. It uses a CR-50 case with Takegawa Racing gear forged pack close ratio and a Kitaco/Takegawa Racing header/cylinder and piston. It revs around 15.500rpm and has 4 very close gears with auto clutch activated by the red pedal shifter. So once you lightily touch the shifter it open the clutch and if you keep pressing it change gears.. I hope it clarify my friends.. Clutch is a heavy duty version to support the engine power output.. Big Hug!!
Sim. Essa era minha ideia inicial. Comprei um motor de biz com kick no ferro velho e ia montar com kit de cilindro mas o motor veio com muitos problemas, então fiz esse ai!
is it bad to say i've had banshees, 450s's, 250's u name it i had it but i absolutly NEED one of these. lol yeah there chinese but there almost exact replica of a honda motor. i can guarantee the quality isn't as good as a japanese bike but this bike doesnt even sound that bad. i want one. i just saw the price for one. i could buy a REAL dirt bike for what they want for it
I fully agree! Chinese replicas are really bad. But you can for some 150cc engines great quality and awesome price. All my motor is Japanese bases and is to fast for the bike! Yeah, I also have some other bikes but Motoped makes the difference when you have so much fun going for a ride! Thanks for the post!
This is a very good question.. One of the main reasons I choose to built My Motoped, was to keep Mountain bike DH settings and use the motor to go up hills.. I could use a much powerful engine but a mechanical clutch with an extra clutch lever was mandatory. Using this setup, I have a powerfull engine and an semi-auto heavy duty Takegawa clutch. Very similar as standard CR-50 semi-auto clutch. Once I touch the gear shift it is in fact a clutch and then keeping it pressed the gears can be changed.
guzforce Cool so you're using to actually jump and do some real downhill riding as well then? How much does your bike weigh? I actually ride something very similar except its electric but the weight of it bothers me.
guzforce Yeap! Using the motor to go up and sometimes just turn it of and go down.. To be honestly I try to keep engine running on critical trails just to avoid accidentaly touch the gear shift pedal and get the rear wheel locked. FullFledged2010, it is like na old Family bike.. Just to give you na idea, I can not easy lift it up by my self.. Maybe around 35 to 40 kg.. Dynamic speaking it has no weight at all.. It is nuts during the ride.. I'm using "black" heavy duty front forks springs and rear just like a standard DH bike.
guzforce Well my bike actually 5kg less then ;) never bottomed out my fork because of the extra weight yet. But the engine itself how much does it weigh?
Hey Aldo, This one, over 120km/h easly. but remmeber that tires, rims, and many other componentes are not designed for this high speed. I know this same engine on a race bike can make around 150km/h (on a race bike). I reduced gear ratio to avoid too much speed as over 80km/h the speed sensation is already crazy!
Aldo Wiranata They will export it all for you! You can get the basic frame kit only and add the Bike parts locally in your country. I´m sure you can get a 50cc engine any where around also. If you want a powerfull one.. than talk to Minimobracing guys. You can mention my Name and Project. They are experts.
Hello Darin, Of course I can help you if this is what you want.. Please send me an e-mail to understand all your needs and specs as RU-vid should not be used for commercial purpose.. I hope I can help.. Guz
Hey Everyone - ORDER is now available for you MOTOPED.. GO to Motopeds, com ! Pessoal, Podem ir no Site da Motopes, com !! O Preço baixou muito e a qualidade melhorou.
This is the multi-chain set up.. When I put it on the elevator all wheels and pedals moves free and whith no noise.. Remember the rear sprockets are aluminum made and need proper lube oil.
yoi got a serious issue with your bike..sounds like a bad bearing for a seriously bad break pad..ever time you slow down there's a horrible metal on metal noise which I'm sure you hear in the video.....should really get that checked out, but being this video is 3 years old whatever it was probably broke already!
Olá Rodrigo, Cara, No final dos meus filmes tem os links para motor, peças e etc.. Pode me mandar e-mail também que te ajudo. Mas tenta esse pessoal aqui: www . piratecycles1 . com
