Well done video. I just bought the things and have not tried them on the road yet. One thing I noticed on their website is that they recommend setting with the tab up, and they make a big point of pulling up and back on the ear to straighten out the ear canal as you push them in. It was hard to see but it looked like you were not pulling up and back as Earpiece recommends.
David, yes actually inserted by pulling. In a previous job I wore silicone buds. Had the same issue with them. So maybe just my ears. Post back here when try your set on a ride. Would like to know your impressions
5:50 Those are laser lite ear plugs. They're very soft which means you can squeeze them down to a skinny piece of foam. After you slide them in your ear they'll slowly expand to fit the contour of your ear canal. Great noise reducers!
Just got these and only ridden twice. Once with the medium and then the large ones. They didn’t fall out, block out noise and let the music/directions from the speakers come through.
That`s true, they are difficult to get them just right and they do slip out after a while. But for listening to my stereo on the motorcycle, they are great for that. they block out wind noise while allowing music to come through clearly. But yes I do wish they were easier to fit in and stay put.
Michael, I agree they can block wind noise but for me they quickly slip out creating a gap which is worse than no plugs at all. You know, that high pitched squeal from a loose plug. As dar as listening to music I agree and found foam plugs allow transit of music well too.
I've never had mine fall out of my ear canal. Love these. Maybe it's user error? Or maybe I push mine further into my ear canal? But I've never had my helmet catch the tabs. I could go to a trampoline park with mine in and they wouldn't come out . Who knows.
I found that do be very deceivingin the advertising, advertised as “17” dB on site but then on the box they are roughly 6 pts less... Quite deceptive... I'm use to 30+ reduction
