Ucche diye Motor Dal or Dry Pea soup with bitter gourd is a very healthy food. Though this cuisine is not testy to all who don’t like bitter test but who like it, is very testy to them. Both Motor dal means Pea & Ucche mean bitter gourd are useful to health. It reduce cholesterol & sugar from blood. Today I’ ll show you how to make or cook this testy & healthy recipe very easily with low ingredients in traditional Bengali Bangladeshi style. This is very famous to all Bengali all over the world.
Ingredients:
Dry pea 150 gm
Bitter gourd 100 gm
Split green chili
Cumin seed
Bay leaf
Dry red chili
Ginger pest
Salt
Turmeric
Sugar & oil.
Process: Boil dry pea or Motor dal very well with green chili. Add salt & turmeric to it. Fry bitter gourd nicely & mix with boiled dal. Heat oil in a pan & put cumin seed, bay leaf & dry red chili in hot oil. When a good aroma spread put it in boiled dal. Add 1/2tsp ginger pest & little sugar. Mix them thoroughly & ready to serve.
